Elle set her brow and leapt into the gates to the Soul Society after Ichigo, and immediately broke into an all out sprint. Ichigo's words repeated themselves over and over in her head, and her instincts immediately were set to run like hell or else you'll die, and sure enough, they kicked in. A few paces into the sprint, she heard a loud, rumbling noise behind them and yelped in surprise. That noise, what was it? Was it that cleaner thing Ichigo was talking about. She was about to spin around to take a good look, but she remembered more of Ichigo's warning and ran but faster, making herself a little ahead of Ichigo.
Seeing light at the end of the pathway made her spirits rise, and her feet continued to slap at the ground at a fast pace until she leapt with all of her might into the light, heaving out a sigh of relief when she saw something that looked like an old-style Japanese town. Elle skidded to a halt beside Ichigo and took in the wondrous view, then threw her head in one direction, her being trembling in fear and intense concentration. Someone was near?
She gave a small gasp once she saw a short, cute-looking girl in a black Kimono, much like Ichigo's, but had something around her left arm. Elle didn't know how to handle this person, so she ducked her head a little and stepped behind Ichigo, much like a shy little girl would.
Hey, it was all she had.

[center][size=85]Aya's gaze was full of hate as she met Tisagu's impudent stare. Rage bubbled inside, and she spat, "Is that the best comeback you have? But I guess someone as incompetent as you couldn't actually be clever." She bent down and feeling like a dog, bit into the apple, making sure to gather the seeds at the pit. Without warning, she shot them at Doku and Tisagu, hitting Doku in the eye and Tisagu on the cheek. She snickered.

Doku laughed, and shrugged. "Well, you can't blame me. I didn't expect to have such a fiery prisoner." He traced the crevice near the stem of the peach he was munching on with his slender finger. His emerald eyes widened as she bent down and ate as she was told and wasn't prepared when she spit at him with blinding speed. His hand jerked up reflexively, but even he was too slow. The impact of the seed was enough to make him curse. He hadn't expected her to be so strong. He let out a snarl and considered hitting her, then allowed a cool grin to settle on his face.

"You're very foolish. Very foolish indeed."

Akiko sighed in defeat. "I guess there's nothing we can do except try and give him everything he needs." She stroked his soft cheek gently.

Ulquiorra met her gaze evenly. "I believe that humans believe that the heart and soul are meaningful, that somehow they are necessary for a purpose beyond granting life. But I do not believe in the benefit of something so useless and something so nonexistent. The heart is nothing more than a mere organ that pumps blood. Humans hold on to the concepts of love and compassion because they fear what they will become without something "wonderful" to hold onto Because they fear being alone."

Ichigo glanced around the Soul Society, before spotting a familiar figure. "Hinamori-san?" He asked, hoping that was right. He had only met her a few times, but they weren't close or anything. He raised a hand in an easy, casual gesture of hello and gave her a nod.

"I came to ask about the recent murders in Karakura town." He said, his brows furrowing a little. He felt Elle shift behind him and suddenly remembered she hadn't ever been to the Soul Society before. "Err, this is Elle. Because of certain circumstances, she's been staying at my house. She can sense and see Hollows."

[*Skylar The Plant*]

Tisagu rolled his eyes at Ayame's answer and grinned as he watched her eat out of the corner of his eye, feeling quite accomplished for a second before he felt something hit his cheek with force and his hand flew up and touched his own cheek. "Did you just spit something at me!?" He exclaimed indignantly at Ayame, his blue and green eyes narrowing and he took a step forward, raising a hand. "Do that again and I'll punch you" He growled, gritting his teeth.

He crossed his arms across his chest in a final act and swiftly took a bite out of an apple that was still in his hands. He glared at Ayame, his true self was more then in effect now, the happy bright Soul Reaper Tisagu was practically dead.

"Well... He needs food right?" Hisaraku asked, his face still anxious. He ruffled his son's black/purple hair with one of his pale hands and he let out a sad sigh, he didn't want his son to die now that Akiko had had him.

Skylar listened silently and then raised an eyebrow once Ulquiorra's little speech was over. "Your really depressing, you know that right?" She asked in her dull voice and with a quick roll of her eyes she looked away, staring at a wall blankly for no reason.

She looked back at Ulquiorra with her emotionless green eyes and examined him with a scrutenizing glare.

Momo blinked softly and bowed quickly to Ichigo and Elle. "About the murders? Well I haven't been told much, I think it would be much better if you asked a Captain, would you like me to take you two there?" She asked in her quiet voice and looked at Elle with her large brown eyes and flashed her a small smile, hoping she would get less nervous.

"And hello Elle-San" She added with another quick, formal bow. She straightened up, fixing her hair quickly before looking back at Ichigo with expectant eyes.

"Hmmm an even bigger coward than I expected." Aya said, sighing exaggeratedly. "You're only brave enough to hit me when I'm tied down and can't fight back. I can't help but wonder why the hell Aizen chose you. I mean, after all, you're clearly just a bag guy-wannabe with terrible taste in weapons--and accessories might I add--and a personality with countless flaws that practically scream "I'M AN INCOMPETENT FOOL." Plus, you're a freaking tree." She flipped flame red hair from her face, her eyes flashing indignantly. She moved and squirmed until her back was against the wall. She left the apple laying on the ground, a single, deep bite disturbing its otherwise glossy crimson appearance.

Doku was getting irritated, very irritated. After all, just because he didn't have a soul didn't mean he didn't have emotions. It was people, particularly women, like Aya that got under his skin and made him want to tear his hair out. He examined the seed she had hit him in the eye with and crushed it between his thumb and forefinger.

"I'm merely logical. You do realize," Ulquiorra said. "That attachments and feelings are generally the downfall of all humans. They wouldn't be so weak otherwise." He brushed back a lock of pitch black hair with a pale hand, his emerald gaze shifting to her for a moment, scrutinizing her just as she was him.

"Yeah, but isn't the state he's in now too old for milk?" Akiko asked, looking at her son worriedly. "Does he need baby food? Or Hollows? Or regular food? Or..." She trailed off, unsure.

"I would appreciate that Hinamori-san." Ichigo said, giving her a respectful nod.

[*Skylar The Plant*]

Tisagu's eyes narrowed furiously and he grit his teeth. "Shut your damn mouth, my weapons are most powerful and what the hell do you mean I'm a tree!?" He exclaimed, obviously overly offended by Ayame's words, he looked away abruptly and an angry scowl was on his face, he wanted to make her shut up so badly, but he still had the kindlings of feelings for her, he didn't really want to hurt the firery soul reaper.

"Just be quiet Ayame" He said coldly, trying to shake off his own feelings, his mismatched eyes narrowed and he glanced at Doku, wondering what he was thinking. He gazed at the rather cold man and a small frown crossed his pale, sharp features and he let out a sigh, he did seem weaker hen Doku, but neither Ayame nor Doku had seen his Zanpuktou power in effect, it was a truly frightening thing to withhold, even Tisagu himself was afraid of his power, the slightest touch could kill someone he had only meant to make faint. His eyes dulled considerably when he thought about it, he could barely control the power he had, and when it wasn't controlled it was deadly, he guessed Ayame's brother had found that out the hard way.

Tisagu's jaw clenched at the memory and one of his hands moved to his other arm and he brushed his fingers across the silk ribbon that was tied there. I'm sorry I had to do this to you, my Zanpuktou He thought sadly and he removed his hand, no longer wishing to touch the silk that had once belonged to his Zanpuktou. "I'm sorry" He whispered under his breath and he looked dully at Aya, a frown on his pale face.

"But their souls give them the conviction to fight Ulquiorra, without tha they wouldn't even be able to fight at all. But I guess Aizen makes you fight, so you wouldn't have to follow your heart, nor your soul to be strong" Skylar said quietly as she looked intently at Ulquiorra, her green eyes expressionless and a frown on her face as she stared, she knew her Soul Reaper believed in heart and soul, but her herself wasn't sure, she either felt little emotion, or too much emotion, but never something like love.

"And their hearts give them the power to feel love, and to feel envy and jealousy" Skylar pointed out again and then raised a dark thin eyebrow. "Do you feel those emotions Ulquiorra?" She asked.

"Well, I have a bit more experience with babies then you do. When Sky and Kironaa were this big they just ate baby-food, should we find some for him?" Hisaraku suggested nervously, he didn't know if Takishima would eat the same things his half sisters would, but he hoped the kid would, it would make things a lot more simpilar.

Momo nodded her head and then adjused her robes before smiling. "We shall go see Captain Kuchiki then! He knows the most about these sort of things!" She said firmly, deciding her herself wasn't ready to see Toshiro again right now, she frowned before turned around and beginning to briskly walk.

Aya, you should shut up now. What the hell are you doing antagonizing your kidnappers? Tisagu may not kill you, but Doku didn't seem particularly perturbed about tying up "loose ends." If you piss them off too much, you may just find out how evil both of them are. A calm voice said from somewhere in Aya's mind. The coolness in the tone made her easily irritated side want to continue making fun of both of the Soul Reapers in front of her even more, but Aya bit her tongue, instead thinking about what she would say.

"Make me," She growled under her breath to appease herself, though it was almost too low to hear. Her chocolate eyes flashed to the floor and suddenly felt eyes on her face. Somehow, the heat of Tisagu's glare had dissipated, replaced by something like regret? No, that didn't seem right. Perhaps sadness? She didn't dwell on the thoughts for too long, however, because she knew that trying to convince herself that he was somehow good would only make things harder in the long run.

"So what exactly are you two planning to do when Aizen double crosses you?" She asked finally.

Doku chuckled. "I don't have a pact with Aizen. I simply want the Soul Society destroyed. Of course, should he put me on a leash, then I'll be pissed." He grinned widely.

"You don't need a soul or "heart" to fight. You don't even necessarily need a purpose." Ulquiorra said, her voice monotonous, eyes easily holding Sky's. "I have found that many, many souls have twisted the concept of "fighting for justice, or hope, or love" into something for mere self benefit, which leads me to believe that they are all simply excuses to justify violence. That is why I have no need for such things. I feel no remorse, no guilt at committing acts that others would see as inhumane or abhorrent. I don't need to believe in things like the "heart." The belief in materialism is more than enough for me." His hand rested lightly on Murcielago.

"And what about you, Sky? Can you honestly tell me that you rely on the heart to give you conviction and strength?" He asked.

"Sure, but damn, I just ran out of my last jar." Akiko said, allowing some sarcasm to leak into her voice. A sparkle reached her amethyst eyes again, meaning that some of her panic was fading. "But I'm sure the other Espadas have a ton of baby food." She rolled her eyes, then became serious again. "But honestly, where are we going to find baby food in Hueco Mundo?"

Fantastic. I'm going to be scolded about how I shouldn't bother him unless it is really urgent and how I shouldn't bring non-Soul Reapers here. I can almost imagine him saying "on a whim." Ichigo groaned in his mind, mentally wincing. Byakuya was the last Captain he wanted to deal with now...except perhaps Zaraki.

"That would be fine, Hinamori-san." He said, his eyebrow twitching a little.

[*Skylar The Plant*]

"Aizen needs me, he couldn't really kill me as easily as he thinks he might be able to anyway, even he hasn't seen my Bankai" Tisagu said dully, his mismatched eyes narrowing in thought as he thought about his Bankai, he grit his teeth and let out a tiny stressed out whine and turned away, tugging at his ribbons and staring at them with his narrowed emerald and ice-blue eyes. He frowned and then turned back, looking at Doku and Ayame and gulped.

"Not sure about Doku though" He added with a quick stressed grin, he was feeling much to anxious right now to be comfortable. He let out a small sigh and lent against the wall and crossed his arms across his chest with another sigh, his eyes dark. He looked at Doku with narrowed eyes. He was getting more curious about the dark man by the minute, especially about the way he had sold his soul to a hollow for power, that was a curious thing. Tisagu let out a small frustrated sigh, finding himself more and more eager to go back to his room and get his possessions, he didn't think he could survive long without his drawing book or his extra ribbon.

Tisagu smiled crookedly at the thought of his items being stumbled upon. That would be an awkward conversation he would need to have with them.... Probably ending with him strangling them to death.

"Well I half-ass thing, so I don't really give a damn about souls and hearts, I just like to kill things, and eat them" Skylar cackled and then grinned widely at Ulquiorra, her green eyes narrowed in amusement at Ulquiorra, she put her hands on her thin hips quite dramatically and then slumped her shoulders. Wanting to fight something right now and then eat them... Probably a person.

Your such a horrible person Soul Reaper Sky hissed in her mind and Skylar giggled loudly.
"I'm not horrible, I'm just a cannibal" She chirped out loud.

"Well we're going to have to go somewhere else then" Hisaraku said moodily, not liking Akiko's tone one bit, he grabbed his son softly under the arms and he scrambled into a sitting position so he could place his sleeping son on his legs and hold him up in a sitting position against his chest.

"Pretty boy" Hisaraku cooed at his son and smiled, regaining his happy mood, no longer worried.

"Lets go then, or we'll miss him" Momo exclaimed and beckoned with a hand for Ichigo and Elle.

{Haven't been on here for so long! I super sorry guys, after spring break, which we spent camping, I got caught up in a lot of family problems and couldn't get on. I don't really know where to start...}

Innocence

Innocence sighed, albeit more loudly than was absolutely necessary. Well, she was home. Or rather, back to the white wasteland that she'd been forced to call home. "Ah, Hueco Mundo, haven't changed a bit," Innocence winced. She hated this place, this whiteness. She needed to get some of that human stuff... was it spray paint?

Elle noticed the girl handing her a greeting and let her eyes relax, but didn't step out from behind Ichigo. She didn't really have the best experiences with strangers, so it was only natural for her to react this way. It was something she saw as necessary, but something that irked her as well.
She watched the other girl, whom Ichigo referred to as "Hinamori-san," and Ichigo converse, then edged a little out from behind him, feeling like a third wheel. She furrowed her brow a little once Hinamori led the way through the passage leading to the main barracks of this Seireitei place. Elle didn't want to admit it, but she kind of started to become a little... irritable with this new girl. She hated that she hated her, but it was something she couldn't really control.
Perhaps, if she got to know her more, then..?
On the plus side of that, not only would Elle determine whether this Hinamori was a likeable being, but it could help her get off to a good start with these Soul Reapers. She wouldn't want to become something that was an obstacle, or an enemy.
Seeing that Ichigo and Hinamori were already far ahead, she broke out of her trance and trotted up to them.

Momo glanced over her shoulder and looked at Elle trotting upto herself and Ichigo. "You may want to keep up Elle!" She called, her wide chocolate brown eyes and she smiled at her, trying to keep a bright face, she was still angry from her earlier experience with Byakuya and Toshiro and she was hardly in the mood for anything, but she'd keep being bright.
"You wouldn't want to get lost around here, Zaraki might find you and want to fight you" She joked with a small laugh, though there wasn't much conviction nor humour in the sound. She adjusted her arm band and frowned, thinking for a fraction of a second about her old Captain and then sighed, continuing walking, wondering where Byakuya might be. She paused midstep, sensing the Spirit Pressure of the regal Captain.

"The Captain's over that way" She said to Ichigo and pointed toward the area in which the Sixth barracks were, she didn't go there much herself, but she knew basically her way around, wondering if they'd need to go to Byakuya's Captain quarters to speak with him, she still wasn't very game around him, he intimidated her greatly.
