He leaned a little on Rainsong. He finally was able to walk and padded out to the middle of the clearing. "I'm sorry I couldn't catch you. Or you, Cherrypaw," he whispered. Why had all this happened? Was it a sign? Or was he just destined to never be happy? His parents had died, his mate, his apprentice.

She bolted off into the camp and into the medicine den. Then ran to Whitebreeze and hugged him. "WHITEBREEZE! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY!" She began to cry and felt guilty for not remembering him.
