Birchpaw sighed walking into camp. If that wasn't strange I don't know what is. He thought. She was just snapping at her warrior and hurried off quickly. He was trying to figure it all out but just gave up and looked to Hawkfire for any instructions.

Snowfall organized herbs carefully, finishing up the general maitenence for the day. She leaned against the dense wall, breathing heavily. This work had never been so difficult before. The kits growing within her were taking a huge toll on her. With a shaky sigh, she headed out to the fresh kill pile to eat. On her way, she heard soft speaking coming from Rockstar's den. Something was not right in the clan, and this hushed speaking made her feel this more strongly than before.

Hawkfire looked to Birchpaw, noticing the susspicion in the apprentice's eyes. "I would keep your guard up if I were you. I don't trust them." her eyes narrowed.

Nightclaw walked over to the warriors den and sat down. She sighed. She had to tell someone and soon. sherested her head upon the ground and closed her eyes. Soon she would have to move to the nursery.

Hawkfire padded into the warriors den and laid down next to Nightclaw. "Hey, Nightclaw." she looked at the she-cat. "What's on your mind?"

Highbrows looked over. "I have going to have kits soon." she said it feeling good to finally tell someone

"Really?! I'm so happy for you!" She stood and looked down at Nightclaw. "Don't you worry! I'll bring you prey everyday until you can get it yourself." Hawkfire was ablaze with excitement.

Nightclaw pushed herself to her paws. "Thank you." she said with a smile on her face. Rockstar poked his head into the den. "We need a hunting patrol to go out. You two want to go?" he asked. Nightclaw nodded. "sure Rockstar." she said shuffled her paws.

"Can I come? And Birchpaw too? He needs the practice and I need to get some exercise." Hawkfire asked.

Birchpaw watched the two she-cats talk about kits so he stopped paying attention until Rockstar came out. "I do need practice." He said trying to convince the older cats to let him go on the patrol with them.
