haven't been on this thread in a while but i'm almost at 1400 for "forever young" my pps cat hoard! its infinite but progress has been pretty slow :>



and some (very) slow but steady progress towards my goal of 214 for my cupid's pet hoard



neither of them are too impressive but i figured its a good way for me to try and kinda get back into this thread ^^

Out of curiosity, if it's ok to ask; why you chose the 214 as number for your cupid's pet hoard?

the date 2/14 is valentines day so i found it fitting for a valentines themed pet!! and i dont mind the asking at all, i usually get this question a lot heh

So, I'm wondering...

I've seen enough people who fall out of love with a hoard pet.
I've also seen a few people who kinda liked a pet, but only started to hoard it weeks/months/years later.

But do you have any hoards that are the opposite of it?
You "disliked" the pet at first, but later on you fell in love and started a hoard?

Which pet was it, why didn't you like it at first, what made you fall in love with it later on?

Actually, I would say my stocking dogs. At first I didn’t like the idea of those rare older pets being released again within stockings. It just bugged me to think these special pets were released again to be had by all but with a catch of being inside stockings. I don’t know, hard to explain...

But as I realized I never took duplicates out of my group, I fell in love with them because of their concept. What a cute idea for a pet based on the idea that at Christmas time, you can get those Dreamies in your stockings. Plus, I really love each of the original dogs designs so it is an easy way to have a bunch of jokers, dog tags, pink sorbs, etc.... So, now I have over 350 of those cuties and I have no plans to stop, I just love them. <3

I just hit my next big milestone for my PPS fox hoard, 2000! I'm super excited, I love baby foxes and I've been hoarding them since the lineart was released. Next up, 3000!


I also just hit 50 on my newest hoard! Just these 3 outcomes from the litter. I love them, but they've proven tricky to trade for! Hopefully it'll get easier once their rarities are released


And I just got another one of these babies, getting so close to 200!

I really disliked the colors and design at first... but as they got older they grew on me. I seriously love then. I have so many of them now ♡♡♡

i think these kids. it was my least favourite outcome when it came out for some reason ;; and i just happened to see one last year and it made me go...ok i need one...and one turned to 2....and you know the drill. capped it early, since i wanted unique dressups for all of them ^^'

To end it off, I have an item hoard as well, but just one!

Pet's name: Marie

I always love being offered this animal egg, I almost always say yes.

I love seeing item hoards since it's pretty much the only thing I hoard anymore. Animal eggs are my favorite of the item hoards. The cherry blossom dog egg was my favorite from that year and I had initially planned to only hoard it that year, but that didn't work out. It was my first one to get to 100.



I wish I would get more trades for them myself, but it's still fun hunting them down. I've replenished most of my trade fodder and I'm ready for Easter again.

My two outcome coon x timber litter hoard is up to 407 so I might reach for 500 and stop that one finally.

Ohh, what sweethearts... They're so tiny and cute ;v; I struggle a lot with hoard names but usually get inspiration from songs / poems / writing, etc, that I associate with it. Perhaps you'll find something that way? Either way, wishing you luck! 🐰🍀

Oh, I have a hoard of those PPS kittens! The soft, natural colors are hard to resist so I can understand why you'd want to hoard them, haha. The rarity of one of them dropped from uncommon to common recently so hopefully that'll make it easier to trade for!

And oh, man, I still regret not hoarding the gryphon store pets when they were in the shop u_u; My wallet would have taken a hit but by golly it would have been worth it.... I'm rooting for you to find the last seven you need! 💕
