I agree that this is a serious and VERY disappointing scandal. It seems kind of unlike him, but at the same time... Not? I don't know. I just hope that it's either not true and that he has nothing to do with it, or that he can realize his mistakes and fess up to them.

Also agreed. Bigbang, as much as I love them, doesn't have the best of reputations... And yes, it is very good that he is cooperating! If he wasn't, though, I'm sure it would ruin his career even more than the scandal itself is.

I don't think they'll disband but if all of this is true, they may become four without Seungri

I can't believe it escalated so quickly to the point that fanclubs are calling for him to be removed from the group. I was so shocked when I saw that they were petitioning.

woooooooow. i have noooo words. i kind of felt like this would happen, but at the same time not at all. retirement after 10 years in the industry. whhhew. kind of hurt but i very sincerly wish him the best. i cant imagine bb ... to continue as 4....? im not sure. we’ll have to see how this plays out in the long run.

edit. im reading more into it and im not sure.... is sg? is innocent or guilty....? i have no clue anymore.

i just feel betrayed by seungri’s actions. he seems like such a nice guy with all his ramen resturants and donations to charity but i couldn’t believe he would do such a thing behind our backs. he played us ;^;

I can't believe that seungri actually retired. I was not expecting that to happen. I was hoping that this would end well, but I don't think it can at this point and I'm worried.

in all honesty, I feel sorry for the other members of big bang. sure, they were never saints, but everyone makes mistakes and things are way different here in the united states so it never really bothered me. but this? this is making them all seem awful and rehashing the prior incidents. I'm just so sad. I don't want this to be the end of big bang, but I don't think big bang will be successful if they continue after this.

I'm a huge fan of big bang, especially of g-dragon, daesung, and t.o.p. they're part of the reason why I got into k-pop in the first place. I will admit that seungri was never that appealing to me in comparison to them, but I didn't dislike him. after this, though,,,,,I don't really know how I feel about him or about the other members.

I was hoping that these were all just rumors, or that he wasn't the one who did these things because he really didn't have control over what was going on there. that they just put his name on it to make money. but the recent articles seem to be proving all of that wrong, and now other artists might be involved, too? and g-dragon's lyrics are being brought up? what's even going on anymore? I'm,,,,,,,,oajfdkskdjkdsjdnk scared

I can't imagine someone resigning like this unless they truly were guilty, but then again, it would be hard to do anything in korea after a scandal so large. seungri clearing his name would be nearly impossible. I'm holding out hope that that's why he resigned, and that he just wants big bang to be successful again without him, not because he really did these things,,,,,

Yikes. I don't think that I've ever seen anything in the kpop scandal community escalate that quickly. I was really hoping that it would turn out to be a misunderstanding or a hoax just for the sake of Big Bang, but obviously that's not going to happen now. This is such a horrible and low blow for such an old and popular group. If he really did do this, I wish he would have thought more about not only what this kind of thing could do to his career, but his groupmates as well, because they're going to end up suffering from this whether or not they continue as a four-member group and that's really not fair to them.

I just hope that even though Seungri won't be a part anymore and it will be different, we still get comebacks and content from Big Bang. They're such a wonderful group and I would hate to see them go out like this, they deserve much better. I'm sure it'll be hard for them to go on without one of their members, but I'm crossing my fingers that they do decide to go on.
