Ok so [ can we just talk about the fact that Klaus was in Vietnam for almost a year and yet it almost never comes up again except in those 2 episodes?? That's one of my complaints with the show. No one even really notices that he's even gone and when he comes back only Diego really seems to care? Five even asked Klaus were he went and when he said 'Oh yeah I went back to Vietnam for about 10 months' Five was like 'Oh really? Well we gotta go save the world' and then never really mentions it again. Like I know stopping the apocalypse was the main plot, but idk I wish the show would've touched on Klaus' trip to Vietnam more. Hopefully they'll touch on it again in s2. ] Ok rant over sorry lol

i feel like the characters tend to brush off klaus and he knows that, so he never really tried to bring it up. his siblings wouldn't take him seriously. lots of people who go through traumatic experiences (like the vietnam war) never want to talk about it. he has to deal with seeing dead people whenever he tries to relax in vietnam! i'd want to forget it and leave it behind, too. five likely doesn't care much because he's probably been in a lot of chaotic, horrific places and he seems a little detached.
although how everyone didn't notice the obvious tattoo and army fatigues is another thing

@ montmorency; Yeah I was thinking about that as well. I just hate how Klaus just gets ignored by his siblings all the time. I feel like if he was actually able to talk to one of his brothers and sisters, instead of them going 'oh Klaus is being Klaus again' and pushing him to the side, he might be a little less screwed up then he already is. sorry Klaus baby I love you but it's trueMaybe he'll get closer with Diego and be able to open up a bit, cause I feel like Diego is really the only one who kind of cares about Klaus.

Ya'll are right though - I think one of the reasons Klaus is constantly being pushed to the side is because of his past though. He got into,, well, not good stuff so I'd see why no one would want his assistance or anything.

But yeah, Diego seems to be the only one willing to help Klaus.

• to me it seemed more like she was.. "owning" him, than flirting with him. She stood there on her "podium", demonstrating how much "over" him she stands, by acting like this.
I really don't like it when people treat others like that, but it describes her powerful and dangerous role pretty well in my opinion. •
