snowflurry watched her apprentice attentively as she stopped mid-sentence. she would of spoke up about the slight rudeness of it, but when she followed her pawsteps, she realized it was to make sure that otterkit was being observed, and she couldn't blame the apprentice for her current actions. snowflurry sat next to lightpaw, curling her tail around her own paws before murmuring out a response, "it would be better to wait for the dawn patrol to come back and then we can head out. is there anything in particular you would want to work on?"

cinderpaw tilted his head ever so slightly as skypaw stuttered out his response. he was already a bit annoyed that he had crashed into him, but he supposed he couldn't blame him, and tried not to let the annoyance slip into his tone when he spoke again, "oh, right. i't's fine, i'm fine. you didn't break any bones, so i'm good i think." everyone was on edge, and he was just an apprentice, like himself. cinderpaw tried his best to understand what he must be going through, but was always out of reach when it came to the emotions of others; he more often tended to ignore the world around him when he needed to.

kestrelstorm hummed to scalespine's response, "yes, nothing special is better than anything bad, right?" the omega warrior spent moments of silence wondering if she could get used to this; trying to get along with those who used to be her enemies, but she supposed she never really got to know them either before she had to. they're cats much like her, loyal to their clan and all, she can't really blame them for their apprehension towards opposing clan members joining them.

dawnstrike, unable to allow herself anymore rest, finally left the comfort of the warrior's den, making her way to the fresh-kill pile. skimming through it with her gaze, she picked out a small, plump mouse to feast on. dawnstrike brought it with her to a silent spot of the camp, and begun eating it.

brightcloud listened to the young one thoughtfully as she spoke. he understood her wants to back to warrior duties, as any other cat in her position would feel. he gave her a sympathetic look and was about to respond when sandwhisper piped up. he listened to the two silently, practically feeling excited for her with the idea of being out of the elder's den. brightcloud waited until there was silence before he joined back into the conversation, "ah, well i can help too. i'm not as useless as i may seem." he flashed a grin to blazingpine before getting up to the sitting position, "you're in good paws, i believe."

ravenwhisker watched the other cats roam the camp and converse as she listened to risingflame, nodding to show acknowledgment in his response, "right, right. mine's been pretty boring as well. not much to do when no one trusts you, hah." she joked, though added right after, before an awkward chuckle, "sorry, that was stupid." it was difficult to talk about anything else other than how much the current situation sucked, and she did understand that her ways to lighten the mood might bother others more, but she couldn't but just let it slip. a lot. she kept forgetting that she was surrounded by her enemies and not by her friends, but at least who she was talking to was a friend, hopefully.
