The grunts each send out one of their own pokemon, an Eelektross and a Rapidash.
"C'mon lets beat these losers and get that Jirachi!" one of the grunts says
"Yeah and while we're at it why don't we steal that Reshiram too!" the other grunt replies

Their pokemon are slow enough that you can call out your moves first.

Elekid took the hits pretty hard, crying out as electricity began to charge a thunder shock move. He was laying on the ground by now, but still kept up his fight. He aimed at both Pokemon.

Here, why don't you have this?" he said, he had looked through the black bag across his shoulder for a while before he gave a quiet "Aha" and pulled out a Hyper Potion, holding it out to you.

After he places the item in your hands, he continues his walk, his Serperior giving you a quick glance before continuing to slither behind him.

back to the hyper potion he had just received, he let out a long
breath out of his nose. "what are hyper potions again?" eijiro 's
family always called him a rock-head, and katsu had that same
look on his face. eijiro shook his head, acknowledging his dumbness
and slipping the potion into his bag. "we should probably
get to cherrygrove and buy some stuff and ask around."
