Smallkit blinked as her eyes adjusted to the morning sun shining down into the den. Her small mouth stretched wide as a yawn escaped through her mouth. She looked down at her sister, Hollykit, who was laying in her nest, "Psst! Are you up?" Smallkit prodded her sisters side, "Wake up! It's the morning, don't be such a sleepy fur-ball." The small kit huffed, "Hollykit! Come on! I wanna play!"

"That's good, I slept like a log!" Lightbreeze chuckled before her gaze slowly drifted over to the nursery, "But I have been a little restless here and there. I just hope all the kits will be okay." She stood up and stretched her fore-paws out in front of her, her sharp nails digging into the soft ground, she then lay down with her paws tucked under her, "Let's just hope nothing takes these kits away. What was it that took Softkit do you think?" She looked over to Sunfrost wondering when he would start organizing patrols, but then back at Leopardfoot as she waited for a reply.

Sunfrost turned to see Morningshine approach. "I suppose I slept fine, yourself?" She asked the warrior with genuine curiosity. She gave a small half smile to the she-cat. "Since Softkit, went missing last moon. I've become on edge I suppose." She said truthfully before noticing her leader exit her den and look down upon her and the rest of the warriors. She turned to see Ravenleap approached and dipped her head respectfully letting him know she will be with him momentarily.

Honeystorm stirred within the cramped warrior's den. The soft moss, now warned down from all his movement. He opened one eye just to peak out if everyone was awake before him, or still sleeping. Honeystorm yawned as he noticed he had to use the bathroom and his mouth was dry from sleeping the last twelve hours. He was probably the laziest warrior there was and especially since the eeriness of the dark has been creeping through the mountain pass at night and inching closer and closer to camp, he was needed more. And this bothered him. He just wanted to live out his life in the warm sun doing nothing except surviving.

Mintpaw finally got up out of his soft bed and headed out to the fresh kill pile. He took a couple extra blinks to the welcoming morning sun and then noticed Spiderfang was already waiting for him. The lazy apprentice groaned, not really wanting to do much of anything these past few moons. "Morning Spiderfang." He mumbled as he padded up to his mentor.

Hollykit batted her sister’s nose playfully with her paw. “I’m up! I’m up!” She mewed with a yawn.The small black kitten was still tired, but she stretched and rose from the warmth of slumber at the beckoning of her sister. “You don’t have to wake me up like that, I would have waken up soon enough.” She lies, but they both know if given the option, Hollykit would have slept in for moons. “Alright! What do you wanna play so badly?”

Icestrike woke up in a cold sweat. He had had another nightmare last night, what a surprise. With kits going missing from their dens and their mothers screaming at night, it was a surprise any other cat could sleep well. The lynx point Siamese rose and shook his fur, shaking out the last fragments of the nightmare from his mind. He padded out into camp, adjusting his eyes to the sun’s light and looked around,wondering.

Softwind slowly opened her green eyes at the sound of her daughters waking up, or rather, Smallkit waking up and trying to wakeboard up her sister as well. The large, fluffy, queen stretched and sat up to watch her dayghters with a small smile. Just play nicely my darlings... she thought, and felt her heart tighten. They were already five moons, she was lucky to see her this morning, any day now...she held back a moan. No, it wouldn’t happen to her kits, right?

Looking around, Lilacpaw saw that Ivybriar was sitting in the camp clearing also, with her head hanging low, seemingly upset. Oh, I hope she's alright.. the young apprentice thought to herself, standing up and shaking her body to wake herself up more, and stretching her legs to get rid of the sleepy feeling that still clung on. Padding over to the queen, she meowed a greeting, letting her know she was there, "Hi Ivybriar, how are you? Is there anything I could do for you possibly?" Lilacpaw chirped, her ears twitching slightly as they also picked up tiny bits of other conversations.

Spiderfang snapped himself out of his sudden daze, his gaze meeting with the dappled apprentice as he approached, who was obviously still fatigued from his recent awakening "Good morning Mintpaw. Sleep well?" The large tom pulled himself up onto his paws and placed his forelegs out in front of him in a stretch, a small groan leaving his mouth at the slight ache that came with it. He took a moment to shake out his fluffy fur before returning his attention to his apprentice and giving him a slight nudge "I'd like to do some hunting. You're only a few moons away from becoming a warrior, and I need to make sure you're all set to do so."

Leopardfoot let out a soft purr as the exuberant fae spoke of her own rest, the bengal's head nodding slowly in response. She allowed her purr to fade away as the warrior went on, a small knot of worry growing in her belly as the younger warrior spoke "Ahh me too, it's so horrible. I wish I knew what it was taking them away.. then maybe we could stop them.. or it." The lithe fae took a moment to look down at her paws, her thoughts drifting toward the recent events and what was going on in the clan at the time.. it was definitely not something she'd ever think to see "I hope we find out soon.. I don't want to lose anymore kits."

Smallkit pushed away her sisters paw, they usually didn't get up this early but once Smallkit was up there was no falling asleep again. "Sure you would have woken up on your own!" She mewed, "Let's play hide and seek! I'll count first, you go and hide!" Not waiting for a reply she got up and started nudging her sister to the den entrance before she turned away and went to jump behind Softwind, using each of her claws to count, "Are you watching to see which way she goes?" She whispers to her mother before peeking over the queen, "I can't see from here!" The small kitten complained.

"I don't think anyone wants to see another kit go missing," she mewed. Changing the subject Lightbreeze stood up and stretched out each leg in turn, "Well, I better go check if i'm needed for any patrols otherwise I wouldn't mind going out to hunt." She dipped her head, saying bye and then slowly padded over to Sunfrost. "Ravenleap, Morningshine," she said dipping her head respectfully in greeting before turning to Sunfrost, "Good morning, will I be needed for any patrols?" Lightbreeze wouldn't mind being in a patrol but if she wasn't she would go and see what she could bring back for the fresh kill pile.

Lilypool was wide awake as sunlight crept into camp, his ears pricked as he emerged from the warriors' den. He had little trouble sleeping ever since the mysterious fog that stole kits began to creep into camp by night, gripped with worry for his sister. He knew that her kitting was still at least a moon away, but he couldn't help but feel paranoid. After all, what if they began taking expecting queens, too? What would he do if he awoke to find his sister gone because he couldn't protect her? He'd been tempted to move into the nursery with her in order to ensure her safety, at one point - but he had decided against it since she had two other queens to sleep with, ones who had no kits at the moment. They can fight as fiercely as anyone else, he reminded himself. They're warriors, too. Not to mention they were mothers to be, if not already. They could fight harder than any warrior if kits were in danger.

Letting out an exhausted breath, he shook his head stubbornly and padded toward the center of camp, his tired ears pricked and alert as he looked around to watch the others emerging after him. Well, it was another day, as any. He couldn't waste his time worrying.

Ivybriar perked up in a startled manner as a soft voice caught her attention, blinking and looking down at the young apprentice that stood before her.
"Oh, hello, Lilacpaw," she mewed softly, shuffling her paws. "I'm...alright. And how are you?" She appreciated the little she-cat's attempt to distract her, and certainly took it. Sinking into cryptic thoughts all morning would certainly do nothing to help her. And it certainly wouldn't be healthy for the kits...
"Don't worry; I'm all right for now. Though..." Admittedly...she could feel hunger prowling about within her, and she shyly tipped her head a little. "...could I possibly trouble you for a bit of fresh-kill..?"

Her eyes veered off after making her request, spotting a familiar warrior padding out from the warriors' den and twitching her ears back a little. He seems about as upbeat as I am, she thought darkly, though a flush of embarrassment followed. How brash! Have I been spending too much time with my brother lately?
Still...she knew better than anyone what it felt like to be out of sorts. The white and tortoiseshell queen hesitated before she quietly spoke, attempting to get his attention.

"U-um....ah, Icestrike..? Would you like to sit down with me a moment?" she offered, her tail curling over herself with uncertainty. She knew she probably didn't look very comforting, but...still. He seemed bothered, and maybe she could help by distracting him as Lilacpaw had with her.

After seeing that the patrols were being tended to, Fawnstar rose and swished her tail before padding toward the warriors' den. She nodded her head to Icestrike in greeting - but she could most certainly still scent a cat or two in there.
Eyes narrowed, the small she-cat entered the warriors' den, spotting a familiar tom still curled up in his nest like a lazy apprentice. Of course.

"Honeystorm," she meowed firmly. "Weren't you one of the first warriors in your nest last night? Surely you can grace the rest of us with your presence today," she added dryly, her tail twitching with annoyance.
She couldn't honestly be too angry with her warriors for their widespread exhaustion and unease, however; this...kit-stealing fog ruffled her pelt more than anyone else, because it took away something vital that had driven her to become leader in the first place - her ability to defend her clan from dangers that could split them apart.

No matter. Moping around and rolling on our backs waiting for the enemy to strike will do nothing to help us, she thought, tipping her chin up expectantly at the snoozing warrior.

"I'm good, thanks for asking! Of course I'll get you some fresh-kill." The young apprentice responded happily. Turning away, she padded over to the fresh-kill pile and began to gently nose through it, looking for the best piece of fresh-kill she could find. Finding a fairly decently sized mouse, she picked it up gently and brought it back to Ivybriar, putting it down in front of the queen, "Is this alright? Is there anything else I can do for you?" Lilacpaw asked, tilting her head to the side.

As Owltalon continued, to groom his pelt he gazed around the camp. There wasn't much going on at the moment. Sighing he finished grooming the last stray strands of fur and rose to his paws. He then padded around the camp looking for something to do.

Morningshine's ears pricked as she listened to the deputy speak. "Ah I slept well.," she said watching the she-cat. Her ears twitched as the she-cat continued. She knew that the clan was still in shock after what had happened to the kit. "Don't worry Sunfrost." she said in a soothing voice. "I'm sure we'll find out what's going on. And once we do all this will stop." she said nudging the she-cat with a paw. She then turned and saw that another cat was approaching. It was Ravenleap. She gave the tom a friendly smile. "Morning Ravenleap." she said to the tom her ears twitching. She then saw yet another cat approaching the small group. This time it was Lightbreeze. She nodded toward the warrior in greeting. Other than the missing kit most of the clan seemed fine.

Petalmist watched the camp with narrowed eyes as she groomed her pelt. The clan was beginning to do regular clan duties, so she would have to start her own soon. In the meantime, she needed to finish her grooming. She continued to groom her pelt her eyes still watching the clan.

Amberpaw watched as Mintpaw padded out of the apprentice den. She then gazed around the den and it landed on Lilacpaw. She nodded toward her fellow denmate. She then turned and bounded out of the apprentice den after the other two. She watched as Mintpaw padded toward his mentor Spiderfang. She wondered where her mentor Lilypool was. Sighing she padded back toward the apprentice den and sat down her tail twitching. She then spotted him and bounded over to her mentor's side. "Morning Lilypool! Are we going training today?" she asked bouncing on her paws.

Her eyes blinked as she walked out of the warrior's den and faced the bright sunlight, which made her temporarily blind. Shaking her head she blinked her eyes once again, this time looking her fellow den mates to see who was up already and who wasn't, there were most of the cats still stalking with each other so probably any patrols were not got out yet.

Flicking his tail lightly as the grey tom padded forward the forest he was not being before, or so he thought. He was being wandered around for moons after escaping for the two legs, but still, he didn't found his way back to his home clan and he was starting to lose his hope to never getting back.

She at near the apprentice's den entrance and groomed her sort patched pelt, her eyes peeking at the cats around her, seeing what was going on in here. She had a hard time to get her eyes out of one of the tom apprentices, which she was seen very cute and seeing him sure make her heart beat harder, which made her feel very awkward.

Silently the golden brown she-cat sat near then warriors den, her eyes watching her clanmates, then toward the nursery, noticing the two youngest queens there sharing prey with each other. She was not jealous of them or anything, but worried, she didn't want anyone to feel the same pain what she had when her only kit Rosekit was being taken away by fog.
