Spiderfang shot the tabby apprentice a friendly smile as she greeted them with her tail, his gaze shifting toward his own apprentice as he reacted. He couldn't help but utter a small chuckle at the obvious discomfort felt by the younger tom, his fluffy tail moving to rest on him shoulder. He rose to his paws as the deputy turned her attention toward them, his skull dipping in a respectful response "If it works better for you, we'd be happy to join your patrol. If not, we can stick to making our own."

Fernpaw jumped to her paws as her mentor finished up her conversation, her excited gaze switching toward the black tom as he spoke up "I think it would be fun if they joined us. Don't you Fishdrop?" The small fae's lips curled up in a wide smile as she awaited the deputy's reply, her paws trembling with excitement at the thought of joining the cats on a patrol.

Sprucebelly gently felt Ivybriar's belly, searching for the kits. He beckoned Applepaw over with his tail, and waited for her to approach. "Here, you take your paw and feel around very gently - the firmer spots should be where kits are." He guided her paw around until he found one of the kits. "There's one... That one seems to be growing fine." The large tom stepped back, glancing at his apprentice. "Why don't you try to find the other one?"

Adderpaw flicked his ear, not thrilled with the idea of a larger patrol but willing to acknowledge the advantage of it. Maybe they could bring down some bigger prey. A hawk or something? It was dangerous, undoubtedly, but with such a large patrol, it could be worth the risk.

Snaptooth rolled her eyes when Lightningroar didn't wake up. "You lazy gator. You can catch up with us, if you wake up." She headed out of the den, flicking her tail. She approached the apprentices, her ear twitching. "Lightningroar has decided that he will be sleeping until the swamps freeze over. Luckily though, I think the three of us will be fine on a patrol without a big, strong tom to protect us." She joked, beginning to head out of the camp.

She lay down at the hiding place near the entrance of the camp, her eyes watching carefully for her clanmates. She did like her life inside the clan, but sometimes she missed her past life as a loner, the freedom and then she could do whatever she wanted, without caring some warrior codes. She was being lived inside there for moons now, but still, there were cats who didn't really trust her because her past, but she didn't really care about it any longer.

She quickly cleaned her tortoiseshell pelt, before given a careful look around the clearing, seeing her mother dark pelt showing near the entrance, then her mentor talking with one of the queens. Taking her to leave away from the apprentice's den she walked toward the two she-cats "Good morning Creamflower, Swanstar" she called out with a purr "So are you busy now? Can we do some training today?" she asked her mentor.

Applepaw nodded quickly as her mentor instructed her, her small paws moving to press gently against the queen's growing stomach. It was such an interesting thing, having kits, though she would never be able to experience it herself, she was happy to be helping the pretty she-cat with her own.. the thought of it made her excited. The queen's kitting would definitely be no easy feat, but she knew that she would be able to do it with the two medicine cats by her side. She snapped herself out of her thoughts as her mentor questioned her, her skull nodding as she moved her paws around, searching for the other kit. Her eyes lit up as her paws hovered over a firmer spot of the queen's stomach, a small laugh escaping her jaws "I think I found it!"

Dawnblaze's curled ears were perked as he listened to the quiet din of his Clanmates about him, his ears catching bits and pieces of conversation. His thoughts honed in on a familiar voice, Lilypool's, and he flicked his tail, rising from where he stood to pad over to the two cats. The large tom dipped his head in greeting, and said, “Lilypool, Sparrowfall. I hear you're going on a hunt.” He flicked his tail, and his gaze shifted between them. “I don't suppose you would mind if I come, perhaps? And my apprentice, too?” Sandpaw could always use a little more training, and this would work fine to do so.

Russetwind lay on her side, her eyes closing as she allowed herself a moment of relaxation in the feathery instances of sunlight that had managed to make their way to the floor of the camp. Her warm red coat sucked up the radiated heat. It was so comfortable that, with her eyes closed and movement almost completely stilled, that her thoughts threatened to drift past the curtain of sleep. She lay still for a few moments longer, breathing deeply and slowly, before she opened her mouth in a yawn. Her green eyes blinked open before she moved to stand, stretching her forelimbs and hindlimbs before she stood up correctly, gazing out towards her Clanmates. Ah, she had work to do... work that would be useful in slipping away the sleep from her bones.

As long her daughter goes back as a life, after going out of training or whatever Swanstar had planned for her.
