oh my goodness... i'm so relieved to see i'm not the only one who has really atrocious trades in their history...
all those pets just for a cucumber haunted me for years so that trade of yours, Shian, makes me feel 100x better

I'm happy the list is gone. I was going to make a long post with my experience with other adoptable sites and making art for them, but the tl;dr version is that Chicken Smoothie identified an issue, worked on all ways to deal with it, and dealt with it. There are a lot of adoptable sites that didn't make it because of various issues. I see the list deletion as a step forward in the right direction.

It's going to be strange trading, but honestly, the list itself was false information on rarity anyway. It included demand, but people would re-aply demand. I still remember when I asked why there wasn't a list for rarity only. I was told that all pets would have the same rarity so there would be no point in a rarity only list.

I'm glad the list has been retired, I think it'll make trading a lot easier. However, this does feel really weird haha. Having been here since 2011 and having used the list for all that time, it's going to take some getting used to.

We've been in the storm since early 2017 we're just in the eye of it now.

Honestly, now that is gone. I've debated coming back to pet collecting.

No more using the list like it is a bible or getting ripped a new one just because you want to swap with something on the same tier. The list made people value overpay more then actually being happy with a pet they wanted.

I disagree with that greatly. With the list was both a nightmare and boring. You got yelled at if you didn't use it, and using it was like using a half functioning calculator. This tier plus this tier equals this tier, etc.
Now there will be more diversity in "list pet" trades that the two players involved in the trade agree upon themselves. Might make trading actually kind of fun again.
