Trust me I’ve had lots of issues getting reputable (wheeze) materials and it has cost around....$200 USD. Compared to a suit, that’s nothing lol, but it is a hole burning in my pocket. By the way my white also arrived and now I just have to


Come up with more reasons to procrastinate- uh- UH SCHOOL WORK? XD I tend to spread my time out on these so I don’t make myself rush, and I sometimes lose motivation because I’m scared I’ll mess things up.

yikes i dont get money on set dates, just when i go help at jobs n stuff
i had 150 dollars but i spent it on a samsung pc (i hate using a school pc, they blocked deviant art and most websites i need to use to get money for art)

And the list goes on <3 I’ve been saving money and asking for it rather than gifts so pretty much my birthday+ job sorta+ Christmas. So excited though. I decided on how to procrastinate and am making him a necklace so that’s keeping me busy. At least it is for now

hullo I haven't posted any tips of my suit... but it has been in the making for quite some time now ! his ears are magnetic which means I can place them in difference places on his head. I made them magnetic cuz they're large and takes up so much space. I can safely store him without damaging his ears. He's also very travel friendly so when I take him to MFF, I'll be able to store him better.

Of course he's not finished but here's some other stuff about him; the half front of his face is made up of fleece including teeth, gums, nose, etc. I wanted to do this because it's light and more ventilation. there are many holes in the back of the head I cut out of the foam to provide more air flow. I'm really excited for the end result tbh !

That is such a cute character! I cannot wait to see how the suit turns out! Magnetic ears are such a good idea too!

Remember to wash your fursuits everyone, even if they don’t look that dirty. Just washed my feet that didn’t look that bad, but look at what came out of them! They only had about 5-6 hours of use at the con. Also I used Plushydog’s fursuit shampoo and it worked great! They sell their stuff on Etsy and have a variety of suit cleaning products.

i cant wash my head i made because the material is barely glued on there ( i ran out of hot glue) and its made out of foam (the inside is just pure foam)
when i get a good, well made one that i can wash in the future, ill be glad too.

^I’ve seen some people use these vacuum things they spray and suck up soapy water as you go. Don’t know the name and I’m sorry for my vagueness- my blood sugar is pretty low •^• just know that it’s possible!

Also dealing with baths- say I need to wash mine and I do, but my bathroom is in a different side of the house and is on a different floor. How do I get a dripping pile of fluff from one side to the other without getting water everywhere?
