“ Dear Diary, today i decided to take a walk in the woods at night. I hoped it would clear my head of memories of today I didn’t want to remember. However I came across something that would change my life forever. As I walked through the forest I went a bit too far and stumbled into a swamp. It was there did I find a curious sight, a baby.

The baby was wrapped in a blue blanket coated with an inky substance all over it and the baby. The infant had a pale grayish face with black tendrils that wiggled around as if eager to explore the world around it. I picked up the baby and cradled it. The baby was obviously not human,however I couldn’t help feeling babe for it. What kind of parent leaves an infant all alone in the wilderness?

I looked the baby in the eyes and it made a couple cute but strange baby noises before yawning sleepily. I decided to take it with me, regardless of what my friends might say. I held the baby close to my chest as it slept I’m my arms. I had never taken care of a baby before,but I knew that what was in my arms was something very special. I unfortunately couldn’t keep the baby,after all it was a monster, but tame one. Perhaps I could take care of it until it was old enough to live on its own?”
