Royal Pack lives in a forest outside of a large city. They get lots of dogs passing through who aren't necessarily wild. Sometimes the pack chases them off, and other times they join the pack. Their home also gets quite a few humans who decided to take a walk in the wrong part of the forest. Luckily the king and queen always know what to do. Those city humans are quite terrified of "wolves."
The pack lives underground. Each den is dug for each rank. The king and queen have a den dug under the largest rock. Close-by is where their elder pups have made their home with their mates. The chosen heir gets to sleep in their own den, with their own mate. Every other rank has their own specific den dug out.
The entire pack knows how to climb onto the large, jagged, and tall rocks that are scattered about the territory. Sometimes, if the are a skilled climber, they can even get into trees, given that the circumstances are correct. The trees here vary in size, as loggers once tore their home apart.
On the edge of the forest there is a large, vast meadow. This separates the forest from the city. While the dogs could venture down to the city, most times they chose not to.
There is a large river that runs through the middle of the forest. No wolf has ever swam across. Luckily there is a fallen tree and rocks to help them cross if needed.
