No? Some may just want a separate section included on this guide of it. Not an entirely different separate guide for them.

There can be an informative section about them, but if we were to say, break the guide up and one post have the normal pets, and next post have store pets only, I think that would defeat the purpose of multiple guides.

You dont have to like the construction of this list or any list. The advantage of having multiple guides is that it can bring many playstyles. CS players want some sort of structure to their trading. New players want help to achieve the older pets. Older players want value guides so they know what the current trend is.

Chickensmoothie can never go back. We can never not have a community designed list. It is always going to be a need from now on because the Rare's List has stood since 2011.

Yes older pets are becoming harder to get but thats because of time, increase of players, and the design of the game. Having a list, two list, or ten list won't change the fact that nothing should be expected to come easy.

Again, if you don't like this style of playing, you do not have to follow it. You can continue to use the Rare's List Guide, basic rarity math, or however else you want to play. But many have expressed a desire for this project and for it to be constructed sooner rather than later.

If you get what I’m saying.

To illustrate this idea, could you create a mock-up? They don't have to be accurate placements/pets but it would help make your point a little more. I can picture a little bit what you mean, since the store pets rarity is so different from the regular CS pets, and even Tess said they shouldn't be considered apart of a CS collection.

But to separate them from the bulk list this guide is working on seems like it would do them better to have their own guide/list that the Rarity Trade Guide can link too.
But if you (or anyone!) can make a mock-up/example of separation of store pets and the rest, we can include it on an information post when it is time to poll.

Or we can set that aside and wait to see if store pets are voted onto the list and cross that bridge of organizing them when we get to it?

Honestly I would think just a section of just store pets, like a separated post listing how they won’t be rereleased and this is their current rarity type of thing. Could be separated by years or by rarity change if that’s ever happened. Etc. just really would depend.

Well, since this next poll is just to decide if URs and Store pets are even going to be included on this guide, we can wait and save this option for a future poll of asking how users would like to organize sections of pets.
I'll bookmark this page to my tabs to come back to it in the future when it's time to address pet placement/construction. ^^

edit;; also I'm aware I'm replying a lot. But the last thing I want to see is this thread die off for 3-4 days with no responses. I may be 'leading' the project but my choice isn't final. So if anyone ever disagrees with me or what I said, or has a idea please speak up!

Personally I think URs should definitely be added to this list seeing as we at least have some idea of their rarity compared to other pets, and they're always traded for non-URs. Plus they get re-released, so they'll continue to be obtainable just like all the other pets.

Store pets I'm not so sure. I'd definitely want a guide to how they translate to these pets if they get their own list.

Maybe poll options along these lines?
1. I want both URs and store pets to be added to this list
2. I want URs to be added to this list but not store pets
3. I want store pets to be added to this list but not URs
4. I do not want store pets or URs to be added to this list

And then further polling on what should be done with URs/store pets if they're voted to not be added to the list?

With the new poll set to go up, we can use Ironic Equation's wording since it was put better than mine. I'll leave an "other" option for those who do not know what to vote/do not care one way or the other. ^^ And as always, you will be able to change your vote if you change your mind.

Since this thread is still small, it'll run for 1 week but no programmed set end date so we can end it/extend it as needed.

After fumbling around, I figured out how to accidentally fabricate poll results so I'll need to forward that to the CS bug team. If you saw the results of the last poll with these options listed, it was a bug error. The poll results should be reset now!

URs at least are still rereleased every year. While differently than a standard release they’re still comparable to the other pets, some have even been very rare themselves. In some way I’m sure they can be compared by rarity to other older monthly releases.

i chose that option, i’ll explain why.

so urs, more rare, higher up(ur rarity pet count and stuff like that to to see the quantity, like supply/demand)
store pets: newer pets would be near the bottom, because they’re the least rare, 2009-201(whatever the cutoff is) higher, but not at the top.
