"Your eyes are beautiful," Thornheart said smoothly. "I've seen you around. What is your name?"

"Oh, uh thank you," she smiled and looked up shyly at him. "I'm Featherheart. You're Thornheart, right?" She sat down, and curled her tail around her paws.


Wildpaw looked into the apprentices den to see if anyone wanted to play.

"Yes I am," Thornheart replied. "What a pretty name for a very pretty cat. It suits you," he said. Thornheart was doing pretty well at the whole flirting thing, though he had never done it before. "You are a very talented warrior. If only I was as great as you."

Featherheart felt a warm feeling grow in her stomach at his praise. She looked up at him, and his blue eyes were warm. She twitched her ear. "Aw cut it out! I'm not that good. You are probably much better!"

"Yea, sure," Thornheart said, his head dipping slightly. "Like I said, your eyes are very pretty. I hope you don't mind, but would you like to share a mouse?" Thornheart hadn't thought much about it, but the question had just come out. He waited nervously for her reply.

Moonpaw sighed "how come I went blind" she meowed softly and buried her face in Longpaws neck

"Sure," Featherheart replied quickly. She gazed at him a moment longer. "Your eyes are much more handsome," she whispered. She tore herself away from him and picked out the fattest mouse she could find in the fresh kill pile. She dropped it at his feet, and sat herself down next to him, closer than before.

"Oh, uh thank you," she smiled and looked up shyly at him. "I'm Featherheart. You're Thornheart, right?" She sat down, and curled her tail around her paws.


Wildpaw looked into the apprentices den to see if anyone wanted to play.

Weaslepaw looked up at wildpaw from his nest.
Silverfire sat in the clearing boredly.

Wildpaw uttered a pretend battle cry and pounced on Weaslepaw's tail like a tiny kit.

Weaslepaw flipped around and batted wildpaw's ear playfully.
