MistClan

This clan was given its chosen name based upon the simple fact that the mist never quite seems to leave their territory. Some days are better than others. When the sun can reach through the trees, the entire territory lights up. This only happens for about an hour a day, at sunhigh. Because it is usually quite dark, the cats of MistClan have a heightened sense of hearing and scent. What they typically lack in eyesight is greatly made up for in these areas.
The cats that belong to MistClan also have more webbed paws than normal. This is because of all the creeks that surround, run in, and run out of their territory. MistClan cats are also exceptional swimmers and fishers.
MistClan prides itself on being a fair and gentle clan. This does not mean they accept outsiders trespassing, but their leader will always give a fair judgement.

Mistclan is surrounded by creeks. These bodies of water are just large enough that other cats typically can't swim across but small enough that it doesn't overwhelm them. There is one entrance into their territory, a large tree that has fallen across the northern part of the creek. Their entire territory is filled with large trees that loom over even the biggest of predators. Rocks scatter their land. They are large, but the cats still manage to climb on top of them, used as perches for the warriors.

To find Mistclan camp you must first cross over the creek or swim across the others. Their camp is located in a large clearing. The entrance is under a large tree. Rumor in the clan is that the founder carved out the tree himself, just large enough for clan cats to pass through, ultimately making their camp the safest one in the area. Once you pass through the tree, you will find yourself in the clearing.

To your right you will see a den dug into the ground. This is the warriors den. Large on the inside, it is filled with nests for each clan warrior. Next to that, dug under two small bushes, is the apprentice den. Off to the right you will see a hole dug into the side of a cliff. Deep inside is where the medicine cat lies. Many herbs fill that den. Next to the medicine cat den is the elders den. It is carved into the base of a tree, vines cover the entrance. The queens den is closest to the Leaders den. This is a patch of tall flowers, which they have picked the middle ones to create a beautiful safe haven for the kits. A very large rock towards at the back of the clearing, a cave off to the side of the rock. This is where the leader makes their home.

A ledge looms slightly over the rock, making a good place for the leader to make their announcements. A small creek runs off to the side, and exists through some bushes. Their fresh kill pile lays there, in between the creek and the leaders rock. The entire camp is safe, the closest twoleg place is about a moons walk away.

A slight mist always grazes the cats pelts. Some suns are better than others.

Each den is filled with nests. The leader has chosen to give the cats in each den the option to chose how they set it up on the inside. If cats chose, they can have nests that they put together, this is a popular option among mates and best friends. Mistclan is a cold territory, so warmth is a very real fear sometimes.

-Mistclan kits have the option to become apprentices at 6 moons, unless their parents and the leader think they aren't ready
-Mistclan apprentices have the option to become warriors at 12 moons, unless their mentors and the leader think they aren't ready
-Warriors will become senior warriors at 59 moons, this is at the leaders discretion
-Senior warriors become elders at 120 moons, this is at the leaders discretion
-Female warriors will become queens the moment the leader finds out and will stay a queen until the leader feels they can preform duties again
-The leader will chose their deputy, must be chose by sunhigh
-the medicine cat is chose by the leader
-the medicine cat apprentice is to be chose by the leader and the current medicine cat
