"Hello." Lexxi said. She saw the girl walk away. She lookedc at the other two, bowed her head, then followed the girl to her room. She opened the door slightly. "May I enter?" She asked quietly.

I looked at both of the people sitting the living room, an awkward silence hanging over our heads. This was going to be interesting. I was a good thing that reading people was easier for me than other people, or else they would seem like complete strangers. Hearing another person, I looked over, seeing another girl my age. It seemed like the government was picking people generally their age. I nodded my head, deciding to stay quiet. That was the type of person I was at first, shy and quiet. Even when I knew them,I was quiet. Sliding over to the other end of the couch, I looked back at the boy. Well, he either have fun or be in complete misery seeing he was the only guy so far. Maybe both. I just waved at him and the other girl quietly, standing up now so the other new girl could take my seat. I couldn't stay in there anyway, the awkwardness was scaring me and I was hungry. I walked to the kitchen, looking through the fridge and cabinets for food. Sighing, I just took out a box of pasta and a pot. I filled the pot with water, and let it boil on the stove. After a few minutes I but the pasta in, and started cooking enough for everyone.

I am definately not the best cook in all of England, but I definately knew a thing or two. I was usually the one who cooked at my old house. It relaxed me for some reason, and I like cooking new recipes. Maybe I would bake a cake or something later.

Sunnibel looked up at her door and merely nodded, "Uh, sure." she mumbled, dropping her gaze to the black dachshund in her lap. She was curious, Why would anyone want to talk to me? she asked herself, frowning subconsciously. She stroked her puppy's head, but remained quiet after those first words. Her question to herself rung through her mind over and over again.

Lexxi nodded. She entered the room. It wasnt very bright. Her eyes fell to the puppy. She absolutely loved dogs, and wished she could have brought her own. She sat down on a chair and brought her jeaned legs up. She crossed them. "What's your name?" She asked. It would probably be the most helpful question to her.

"Sunnibel. Sunnibel Nite." she said, looking over at the girl, "And this is Baby Dawg, but her nickie is Baby." she pet the puppy's head with a smile. Her voice was soft, and very quiet. If someone else had been talking you probably wouldn't have heard her. "And you?" she asked, looking back at Lexxi. She was still questioning herself, but she wouldn't ask the question out loud.

"Lexxi Gold." Lexxi said. "But you can just call me Lexxi." She smiled at the girl. "Your puppy is the most adorable thing I have ever seen." She said, looking at Baby.

Sunnibel smiled, "Nice to meet you, Lexxi." she glanced down at her puppy, "Thanks, she's only seven months old, so she still has a lot of growing to do." she said, scratching the puppy's head before setting her on the ground. Baby padded over to Lexxi and pressed her cold, wet nose into the palm of her hand.

"Where are you from?" Lexxi asked. She picked up the puppy and put her nose to the puppy's nose. Baby was warm, but tiny. Her fur was soft, but that might not last long. It would get matted if Sunnibel didnt get a chance to wash it. She brought the puppy onto her lap and scratched behind her ears.

Sunnibel bit her lip, falling silent. She hadn't told anyone that before. "Um... not very far away..." she mumbled, not going to give the girl a straight answer, obviously. "What about you?"

"Just the open country." Lexxi said. She now missed the farm, and her collie Aspen. She started getting the trapped feeling she felt when she wasnt aloud outside. She set Baby down, to go back to her master. "I can leave if you want." She said, pointing toward the door.
