Silver [♀]-----------------Jeff [♂]
"Any last words before we decide your punishment, Jeff?" I could hear the hatred in his voice, it was something that came as a suprise to me. Werent judges supposed to treat you fairly and punish the guilty? "I already told you, I didnt do it." I growled through bared teeth.
The man laughed while the rest of the people from my town stood in a hushed silence, something that gave a eerie feeling in this wide open meadow. "For your crimes you will be banished to the cave of Evoline, let this be a lesson to you and to all who follow in your footsteps." A sinister smile crossed the man's face as he said familar last words.
My knees felt like jelly, the cave of Evoline?! How could he send me there for a crime I didnt even do? That wasnt the important question anymore, what was is how would I survive? I didnt have time to think about it anymore or to even respond to his words because I was already being grabbed my my arms and roughly pulled in the direction of the forest.
They tossed me into the dark, endless cave and rolled the large rock back infront of the entrance before I could try to escape. A pitiful whine came out of my throat as I curled up into a corner and waited for myself to wake up from this nightmare. It had to be a nightmare, a bad dream that's all. After all this would never happen to me in real life... Would it?
Hours past and I began to give up hope that this was only a dream, my feet screamed in protest as I began to stand up. I was starting to get hungry and thirsty and in a dark cave like this I had little hope of finding anything. If I was lucky my death would be quick but with everything that had happened today I could guess that luck wasnt on my side.
I walked aimlessly through the cave's maze, hitting the occasional wall as I moved forward. I could hear a very faint singing in the distance and sprinted forward to find the person. A sharp pain hit my nose as I ran straight into a wall and fell to the ground, "Ouch." I said and froze as my voice echoed off of the cave walls. The singing suddenly stopped and the sense of lonely-ness began to eat at me as I listened to the silence.
My breath caught in my throat as I heard quiet footsteps get closer and closer to me, hope began to replace the lonely feeling as a white glow came with the footsteps. "Who are you and why are you here?" A soft voice asked as she came into full view. I gasped her fur glowed, it actually glowed! A annoyed look began to cover her pretty face when I failed to answer her simple question, "Who are you and why are you here?" she asked again in a louder and more threating tone.
I stared at her for a moment longer, "I-Im Jeff and I wa-was sent here for a cr-crime I didnt do." I stuttered. "Well Jeff, how am I supposed to know that you're telling the truth?" The girl asked me and took a small step closer. "You'll just have to trust me." I smiled slightly and sat up a little straighter against the uneven wall.
