Fade rolled over so he was facing her, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer. He tangled their legs together, smirking happily. "You know there's only one," he shot back. "And I'm a nervous mess around her. I nearly ruined our first date because of it." He ran his fingers through her hair, pressing his lips to her nose.

Jace wrapped his legs around Alex's waist, clutching him close as he rested his head against his chest. He watched him open the ring box and slipped one on his finger. Jace relaxed against him, smiling as he kissed his hand. He gazed up at him, the rushing feelings of unhappiness calming down as he held his gaze. "Yes," he whispered, taking his hand and lacing their fingers together. He softly kissed him, calmer and more relaxed than he had been before. He couldn't believe that he had been at the brink, ready to end his own life once he left Alex's house. He felt loved and happy as he relaxed in Alex's embrace, feeling a happy glow in his chest.

Eira suddenly felt confused as a spike of jealousy shot through her. "When have you gone on a date and who was it with?" She asked sharply, sitting up a bit."

Alex held him closer and smiled faintly. He kissed him slowly as he rested his hand on the back of Jace's neck and pulled him closer. "I love you Jace." He muttered against his lips. "I never want you to be upset"

Fade frowned, watching her carefully. "She's a girl from the café I work at," he mumbled, confused about her reaction. "It was only one date...Besides, you were busy that night, and I didn't want to stay here..."

Jace smiled happily, softly kissing him back. "I love you, too," he breathed, tangling a hand in Alex's hair.

"Oh..." She huffed a bit amd looked away from him as she fixed her hair. "When are you going out with her again?"

Alex continued to kiss him lovingly before just hugging him to him. "Are you ok?" He asked quietly.

"Tonight," he told her, setting his hands on her hips, tugging her closer. "What's the problem? You have a boyfriend, right? Why can't I have a girlfriend?"

Jace nodded, leaning against his chest. "Never been better," he replied, softly kissing his cheek.

Eira shot a glare down at him. "Its more complicated than that. And i didnt say there was a problem. I just asked when you were seeing her again."

Fade flinched at her glare. "Well, tell me what's on your mind, then." He didn't know why she was mad at him, and he wanted to fix it.

"I just think you should keep in mind who you really belong to when you are out with her." She said sharply without looking at him.

Fade frowned, getting up. "What, you? Come on, Eira. You had the chance to be with me, and you didn't take it. You can't be mad if I'm moving on. We're just friends, Eira. Like you wanted."

"I know we are just friends but friends is more important than whatever she is to you." She said but tried to pull him back dieb beside her by his sleeve
