"Not from around here?" Neca repeated, arching an eyebrow inquiringly as she watched him sit down. She leaned against the wall of the building in the alley, and wanted to not be interested, but her curiosity got the better of her. "So you're a traveler?" She asked, watching him curiously. She had always wanted to travel, but something always seemed to stop her, whether it was a fight, which left her crippled so she couldn't, or the dog catchers managed to pin her in the city, so she was trapped.

Komea nodded. "Yes, and I have been my whole life," he answered, and then sat down with his tail wrapped around his front paws. "If I were to travel home it would take me as long as it took me to get here, which is almost four years."

[Alme]

Neca smiled lightly, "It must be amazing to travel." She murmured, mostly to herself, then seemed to realize what she had said, and she reddened with embarrassment. She knew that not many wolves liked to travel, and didn't like to seem strange, "Eh, anyways, thank you for stopping that dog." She said softly, "I really appreciate it."

Komea shrugged, not really knowing what else he should do. "Yeah, traveling is the best decision I have ever made with my life. It is great, being able to hunt different prey and see different sights..." he trailed off, his mind wandering. "And no problem..."

Neca shivered for a second, then shook her head, a new light entering her eyes. "Anyway, it's nice to meet you, though unfortunate in the fashion we did." She knew she should be afraid of a wolf like this, regardless of the fact that he had helped, after all, he was from the wild and she was a stray, but she couldn't bring herself to. It wasn't in her nature.
With a wince, she pushed herself to her paws, gritting her canines as her wound throbbed, opening. Though she was a stubborn 'dog', Neca wouldn't be kept down too long, that's not how you survived on the streets of a big city like this anyway. "You should leave, though. I'm not the kind of stray you want to be hanging around here if you want to get in Randou and his thugs' good graces, which is the right way to go." She said softly, shrugging lightly.
