“Hm... I have an idea.” She took his hand and pulled him to her fancy blue convertible parked down the street. She hopped in and put on her round, rose-tinted sunglasses. After Daniel got in, she revved the engine and took off. She turned on the radio and felt the wind rush back in her hair. After a few minutes, they were in uptown with all the big houses, fancy restaurants, and expensive boutiques. She parked her car under a stand with cursive lettering reading ‘valet’. A man came up to her and took her keys as she got out, pulling Daniel along with her. “Here we are!” They stood in front of an elegant looking building called ‘Charmant’. It was the nicest, most expensive, and fancy restaurant in the whole city. The food here was incredible and there was a 4 month waitlist. Vienna would often come here with her family for special occasions. Why did they get to skip the waitlist? It was because Vienna’s dad owned this restaurant, so the staff lets them do whatever they want. Vienna looked over at Daniel, waiting for a response. “They do amazing brunch.” She loved this boy so much that she wanted nothing more than to spoil him with her riches. She would buy whatever he wanted from now on.

Daniel looked at the car, he hadn't been in a car like this in well-ever. He sat down, letting the radio play softly as he glanced at her ever so often, admiring the girl and her beauty. Daniel noticed they'd entered the richer part of time, his face turning pale as he was wearing a run down jean jacket over an old white tee and a pair of black ripped jeans. Daniel gulped as they pulled up to a fancy restaurant, he'd never really eaten at a fancy restaurant and he hadn't been eating much these past few months so he was used to smaller meals like a sandwich or even just a bottle of orange juice. His stomach wasn't used to bigger meals because he always gave his mother and his sister the bigger portions, so he was a bit nervous to eat here-that and he felt terrible for letting Vienna pay for his meal, even if she was rich. Daniel got out, standing and walking up to Vienna, every other person here looked way fancier and nicer than he'd ever look in his life-his hair tousled and untouched while another mans hair gelled back, perfect. He felt out of place here, nervousness growing inside of him as he nervously grabbed Vienna's hand. "I-I don't know-I'm-I look way different..and it's not the good different-I don't know Vienna" he whispered in embarrassment as a group of fancy looking people sent glares his way and looks of pity at Vienna, Daniel immediately dropping her hand-he didn't want people making fun of her for being with him.

Aspen thankfully gulped down the liquid, a nurse coming in to check on her before her eyes widened, "No no no! Young man! You can't be giving her water when she has an oxygen tube in!" she yelled nervously as Cade shut the bottle, the girl coming to inspect Aspens tube, she hated being babied, she was feeling fine. Aspen rolled her eyes before she let out a small cough-the liquid tickling her throat and as it passed the wounds it stung. Ryann nodded, respecting his answer as she only finished one pancake, her stomach beginning to hurt from her strict diet. She pushed the plate away, taking a long swig of her water as she wiped her mouth, tapping her foot. Aspen watched him leave, coughing up the water into a small plastic bucket before she wriggled around, the nurses holding her arms in frustration. Aspen wanted to get up-go out there, give him a hug, tell him it wasn't his fault. She wanted to call him back in, to ask him how he was doing. But she couldn't. "Aspen, hey! Calm down!" the male nurse yelled in frustration, her eyes widening a fraction as his hand was holding her arm down over her IV. She winced, he immediately lifted his hand. Aspen calmed down, breathing deeply as the nurses looked at eachother. Aspen gained her strength back, pulling her arm out of his hold as she pushed his arm away, reaching over to grab the woman's arm so she could set her other one free and get up. Her throat burned, opening her mouth as she let out, "N-No! Let-Let me go!" she whined out in frustration, unable to kick her lags for one was in bandages and the other was sore. "No! You can't get up!" the female nurse shouted into her face, Aspens own face scrunching up in frustration, she held her wrist in front of the nurses face, showing off the gang tattoo she had, she usually never used it as an advantage but she wanted to get up. He came up behind her, gently pulling her into the art store as he walked up to the man at the front desk. "Hello sir, do you have any of the watercolour sets with 40 colours left?" he asked, running a thumb over Mercury's arm in a soothing sensation as the man nodded, "Yes indeed we do, come-right this way" the man asked, leading them to a back room where he pulled out a wooden case, opening it to reveal the watercolours in the window. "Will you be purchasing?" he asked as Jack nodded. Walking back to the front with her as he took out his wallet, "alrighty, seventy three dollars" the man said as Jack nodded, handing over three twenties, a ten, and a five as the man gave him his change. He shoved the wallet back into his pocket as the man put the pack into a large bag, handing it to Jack as he thanked him, "Have a nice day" he smiled kindly-something new coming from the snarky boy as he walked out, hand in Mercury's before handing her the bag with a small smile. "Here you go sunshine" he smiled sweetly, pecking her cheek before smiling down at her. The money didn't come easy to him but he had to thank her somehow, after all, she saved his life, and besides, he'd earn the money back easily if he did extra for the gang.

Jack nodded, leading her towards one of his favourite places; The Blue Bird Cafe. That was a cafe where he'd always play his guitar for his audience, but he gave up on his music after joining the gang. He walked in with her on his arm as he looked at the manager, Dinez. "Jack? That you?" the old man asked happily, "Yeah, Franches how you coming along?" he asked the old man, giving him a firm handshake as he shook his head. "I'm getting old son, this-run down place has been empty since you left, you were a musical talent you know" The old man sighed out, remembering when Jack would run down and play some tunes for the older folks. "Yeah yeah, but I'm sure this place will stay up and running for a long while" he said, giving him a hopeful smile as the man shook his head, "No, no, I'm getting old.. These-land-lease people came down with a contract. They-they want to lease this old building off.." he sighed, shaking his head. "W-What! No! You can't do that" he protested, this was a childhood hangout, he used to play here for the people in town and his sister too. "Jack, customers are running low.." he trailed as Jack looked around in frustration, seeing his old guitar hung up on the cafe's wall. "You kept that?" he asked breathlessly, looking at the beautiful dusty instrument, Jacks signature on a plaque by the wall. "Of course! We always hoped you'd come back to play.. could you, I don't know.. Play? I can call up the old employees, they would love to see you" he exclaimed in excitement, his face lighting up as Jack rubbed the back of his neck. "I-I don't know Dinez.." he let out nervously, looking down at Mercury to hear her thoughts.

Aspen chuckled at his small wink, he was the same old Cade. "Oh Yes Yes! She always came down and watched Jack play! She was his fill in for when he left..she played here, but she stopped coming, sweet lady, sweet lady" the old man nodded, leading them to the table under the guitar, taking the girls order. "So Jack, will you play something for us?" he asked, Jack hesitating, "O-Ok.." he nodded, "Great! I'll grab the stool!" he was referring to a stool that he had bought specifically for Jack, Jacks signature written on the top of it. "W-Wait! Right now?!" he asked standing up nervously, yeah they were the only ones in here, but Dinez knew how to draw a crowd. "Yes Jack" he let out a hearty laugh, leaving to go grab the stool. Within a few minutes a group of people had entered, it was the old employees, Dinez must've already called them. Jack chuckled, the old man putting the stool down at the back of the cafe in the small stage area. Moving the table and revealing the old stage as Jack let out a nervous sigh. By know a larger crowd had drawn, Jacks name murmured among them in excitement as Jack recognized the old faces, offering them a small wave before grabbing the guitar off of the wall, bending down and giving Mercury a kiss on the cheek before walking to the back. He set up the microphone, looking at the crowd and plugging the acoustic guitar in, looking at the crowd that cheered at him, it was just like the old times. "Uh-Hey, I'm Jack.. I-uh thank you guys for coming back" he referred to the familiar people, "And um, thank you for the new people for coming to check this awesome cafe out-they have really good muffins" he chuckled, making small talk while tuning the guitar and pulling his feet onto the bar of the stool, "Uh-I'll play an old classic.. It's dedicated to a very special girl-I wouldn't be up here without her" he said, looking directly at Mercury and sending her a playful wink, playing an old song that he used to perform all the time here; Rock with you, by Michael Jackson.
