Alhar gave a little smile "Of course," he said and turned to lead. He silently promised himself that he wouldn't let either of these two die, he didn't know about the elf boy yet but it was obivious that the Sulent felt something for the boy. He wouldn't let the same thing that happened to him happen to them. It hurt to still be in love with one that didn't live. Alhar stopped for a moment when he saw a ghostly swan swiming in the waters of the river but before he could open his mouth the mist passed over it and when it cleared the creature was gone. His heart sank like the stone he had thrown in the water. He turned and lead on.

Elenwen could see the magic about the raven she glared at it but then her face softened "Bless the Dark One." she whispered. She held her arm out like one would to a hawk. The raven flapped form the tree to her arm, landing there and looking up at her with its red and intelegent eyes. She looked down at it "You take, you give, you keep a world turning. To have your souls you nearly break mine. I shall play my part in your game, no matter the fate it holds." she chanted quietly as the raven looked up at her. It almost seemed to nod then flap onto her shoulder. She began to walk, humming a solom chant.

.:Anamerak:.
The elven boy started to follow Alhar, a smile on his face again. He noticed the swan out in the water but didn't say anything. It was pretty but it beauty was soon obscured by the mist. He hated this mist. It seemed to cling and hide almost everything. He turned his gaze back to his two companions. They both seemed upset over something. He hop-skipped a few steps until he was next to Alhar.
"I don't think I told you my name. It's Anamerak." He said with another grin.
"It seems kinda weird to travel if you don't know other people's names.

Ash stared out at the water where the swan had been. "Beauty hath no limits... Yet fate itself steals it away..." she murmured softly as she stared out at the water. She finally moved after the two, bringing up the rear of their little party. She finally looked up more towards the sky, instead of at the ground. Her emotions were heavily guarded, her eyes appearing to be foggy as they moved, as she didn't want either of her two comrades to know what was going on in her head.

Halomaru continued to watch the crow. "The... The dark one?" He repeated, but he didn't get an answer. He noticed that Elenwen was already leaving, so of course, he followed her, his hands in his pockets. The Dark One huh? I wonder who that could be... I remember hearing that... somewhere. He thought to himself as he followed a little too carelessly, but soon enough, Halomaru regained his composure. Somewhere there should be some kind of answer. Halomaru even forgot more of what his family was supposed to be. His kin were dead and he was the last of his bloodline. There had to be some reason for him being here. Some reason why he couldn't just go back home.

Mayia ran through the brush, going up the river. The mist wasn't helping her vision though. She just kept going, letting Leviere drop from her mind. She just wanted to run and find a way out of here, but even though she kept going, she ended up getting shocked again. Her scream echoed through the area, but was soon silenced by Mayia's determination. "This is hopeless..." She said, her eyes hardening. Mayia looked down into the water and took a few breaths. She decided that maybe... that chant. She would preform it just to get out of here. She took off her staffs from her back and took in a deep breath and began, in hopes that it would put down that barrier so she could leave.

Alhar gave the elf a smile "My name is Alhar, it is a pleasure to meet you." He said but he literally froze, when he heard the words Ash said. He stood in mid step for the time it took her to say her words. His expression dampend, he knew those words all to well. He spoke, bowing his head "Please, don't talk about her like that." he said quietly, his hand rising to the amulet around his neck, the single swan feather on a golden chain, all he had left of his Feathers, it seemed fitting.
--
Elenwen eventually spoke "The Dark One, The Grim Reaper. He is the protector of this world and the god of us gypsies. To us he is the fates, the one we call on to use our magic, the one who sets our cards in our hands. Madame Ava always said he watched out for me but everyday I doubt that more and more." She looked down, the raven took off and flapped beside the two "He guides the dead to their final rest. It is said that he needs their life forces to survive. That is why nercomancers aren't to well liked by us gypsies; they don't seem to respect the pattern by bringing spirits back to the world of the living." she explained, she looked back up at the raven "His symbol is the raven. It's said that the Dark One uses them as messangers of death; the carrian crawlers... but that's just a stupid legend." she dismissed it lightly, somewhat frightened by it considering the raven was following them and more specificly; her.

Ash slowly shook her head as she looked up at Alhar. "I was speaking of no one in particular... Simply in general..." she murmured softly, not having meant to upset him. She let her eyes drift the the feather that he wore on a chain, figuring that it had something to do with his lost lover. She let out a soft sigh, glad to have never lost a lover like that. Sure, her heart had been broken many a time, but never had she had her love stolen from her by Fate.

The elf looked down. His green eyes wide. Everyone's mood was changing so fast, it was hard to keep up. He looked up at this two, and shook his head.
"C'mon. Let's go to this town. We will feel much better once we get out of this dreary forest." He said with a smile. He suspected the mist was to blame.

Alhar nodded, "Um... yes... let us not dwell here, it is a dark prision of a wood." he shook his had and quickend his pace, hiding his necklace under his shirt, he couldn't risk lossing it. He whistled once, then twice but then came to the horrid realization that Silvermane wouldn't answer his call. Silvermane was his stead; a paladin's horse, they were just as deadly as their masters in a fight. He shook his head sadly, everything he knew was millions of miles away... no worlds away. He stopped his calling and continoued to walk, looking straight ahead to the nearling city.

Ash began following them, trailing behind a little ways, lost in her thoughts. She was attempting to make sense of her emotions, but was soon finding that she couldn't, not unless she wanted to admit to having feelings for Anamerak. She let out a sigh before taking off, flying over the two, her eyes searching for the city. Her form was amazingly accented when she flew, all of her curves seeming to look just right. She had watched others fall for Sulents like herself as they were flying, but she doubted that that would ever happen to her.

Halomaru narrowed his eyes slightly. "So... You hate me, then?" Halomaru asked lightly, his grin broadening to be a bit maniacly as he laid one hand on one of his guns. In an instant, he pulled out the gun and shot the raven. The thing was rather annoying... the way it followed them. He wasn't one to just let things go. If Elenwen had bothered him earlier, he would have shot her too. The raven was quick, but not quick enough for Halomaru's bullet to just graze it's feathers and burn some off. At the least, it left them alone.

Mayia sighed lightly. The song was pretty and all, but that... That.... Ritual. She didn't know it. WIth a sigh of defeat, Mayia sat on the river bank, waving the mist away with her hand. She was alone... but... Being alone wasn't so bad. Anymore... Mayia use to be hopelessly frightened about being alone, but it was natural now... She lost the last important thing left to her, and she had to manage now. She needed to find a way to get away from this river...
