In the heart of a forest filled with towering trees, a bedding of pine needles underp
LouluClan resides on a fictional atoll (a ring-shaped reef, island, or chain of islands
formed of coral) very near the Hawaiian islands though not as popular, meaning less
tourism but more private estates. It's a very large ring that may take an able-bodie
d cat around a week or so to travel the entire expanse. Its coasts are bare beaches
with a treeline of palm and various other tropical plants nearby. Toward the northe
ast, the land thins and a sandbar lies as an opening to the ocean, where salty waters
spill into the center. The forests cover a majority of the island and it is very dense,
large, and difficult to travel through if one isn't careful. Lastly, a large pool of wate
r lying in the west provides fresh water, suitable for the cats to drink from. Though
frequent rainfall also provides plenty of opportunities to hydrate in the warm climate of the atoll.


THE CAMP
The camp of LouluClan resides in the southern section on the atoll. It is nearby to a large body of water, providin
g ample hydration and a plentiful fishing location. To find their camp, one must leave the beaches and venture in
to the dense forest, where an ivy and moss-lined palm lays on its side, offering a small gap beneath for a cat to
slide under and arrive onto the other side. Upon entering, a clearing widens among the palms, having been clear
ed of underbrush for plenty of safe, communing space. The farthest hollow or den among the underbrush belongs
to the leader, whom's place is situated perfectly in place for one to be able to foresee the entire clearing. The d
en a little ways away but beside it is where the medicine cat works and sleeps. Their patients will roost here wit
h them while under their care. Then, a little ways off from that is another den, larger than any of the others. Th
is is, respectively, the warriors den; where all of the fierce and strong soldiers rest their tired bodies before e
mbarking on another day of work. Finally, across the clearing and to the opposite of the warriors and medicine
cat den, there lies the nursery and elder's den. These are small hollows, tiny in comparison to the others, though
serve their purposes well. Extensions can be made if ever need-be, as the woven foundation is flexible and easy
to be manipulated. Finally, the apprentices den is a medium-sized hollow, just large enough to house the right nu
mber of young apprentices inside.


THE TRAINING HOLLOW
The training hollow is a designated area where the apprentices of LouluClan come to train with their mentors an
d learn skills that will later help them to succeed as warriors. The clearing is large, enough to hold big classes of
many young apprentices. Though the Clan holds many similarities to other Clans, the way they train their appre
ntices are one of the few differences. Mentors are chosen, respectively, by the leader, who then spend their fi
rst night before training their apprentices meeting with the deputy, who will then be in charge of organizing les
sons.These lessons will be the main mode of training for most of the apprentices as this will be where they will le
arn the major and important skills. Once a skill has been taught, or at least an overview of one, the mentors spe
nd the next few training sessions one-on-one with their apprentice perfecting the skills they need to learn. Thou
gh the training hollow is often where these sessions take place, mentors are also permitted to take their appren
tices elsewhere when training. The large lake is often crowded with apprentices as they are learning to fish for
the first time, while the sound of their splashing and joyful cries brings much fulfillment to the rest of the Clan.


THE LAKE
This lake is the main source of hydration for the clan as it provides fresh, drinkable water for the Clan. Fish sw
im within its depths, offering plenty of food. A skilled warrior might be needed for this task───a fisher who h
as mastered the art of fishing above all others.Usually a warrior is better at one than the other, rather than m
astering both of these important skills. Any warrior, though, no matter their own personal preferences, knows
much on fishing, regardless whether they are very good at it or not.

LORE
A small population of feral cats had arisen on this remote island due to unusual circumstances that wound them up t
here───from wrecked vessels to humans’ pets who escaped their dens. However, over time, their populations flo
urished and grew so large in size that the atoll could not possibly sustain all that lived there. Sickness, starvation, a
nd skirmishes between rivaling groups were common. Not only this, but the cats had also forgotten of their gods a
nd quickly strayed from their religion. As a solution to their weighing issues, a trio of gods overlooked by those on
the island massacred all the cats they could find───including mothers, kits, and elders.When all was said and done
,it was just them and a land of scattered, lifeless bodies. The gods gathered together and formed an alternative,s
ustainable lifestyle that wouldn’t allow for the previous overpopulation issue to arise once more among the Clan.Th
ey would ensure that their teachings would never be forgotten and punishment would be inflicted if ever need-be.

After the massacre, the gods gathered together and used their power to replenish the broken land back to its for
mer glory───for the overpopulation of the island had led to a rapid decline in prey and the atoll had become infe
rtile, wilted. The bodies of their victims joined the soil and allowed for many green, leafy plants to grow vibrantly.
The water, then murky and uninviting, flowed blue and teal, like the bright sky above. The sun shone brighter tha
n ever, bringing with it flocks of migratory birds that later claimed residence on the island that never lost its war
mth. Other creatures, said to have been created by the gods, took a more permanent residence───these being
mongoose, rabbits, mice, rats, and even feral goats. Other species of birds were also prominent. Soon enough, t
he island flourished and the ecosystem was restored.

WEHILANI

The god of the sun, day, and overall life. Wehilani waves goodbye to Aonani and takes the land by full-force,
his light engulfing every crevice of the earth and bringing with it many fortunes. Many creatures take the
day or light as a sign of prosperity and growth, as it is essential for many of the creatures among it. Without
light, nothing would have survived or grown to such great heights. Though when the light of Wehilani begins
to tire, he drags along and gradually allows for Aonani to cast her great shadow over the lands once more.

AONANI

The goddess of the moon and night. Aonani guides the moon in its daily course and shields the land from light
by laying across the sky, her dark fur blanketing the land. This process is essential to keep the land from burn
ing to a crisp and wilting under the excessive heat. This darkness offers a period rest for the plants and anim
als below, regaining their strength and energy for the next day to come.

MAKUNAKUA

The god of stars, death, and the protector of souls. It is believed that when a cat leaves the world among Lo
uluClan, they meet Makunakua whom guides them through the spirit realm where evils attempt to conspire a
nd to safer, more pleasant place. Once they reach here, they are relieved of their duties and left to rest thei
r remaining days. Unlike other Clans, the ancestors do not have much of an authority over the others beside
becoming old legends or legacies. Instead, the gods, being the trio above, perform all of the bidding. Each h
ave their own purposes, and Makunakuas' is to guide the dead.

THE WARRIOR CODE
01. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty m
ust remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

02. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

03. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprenti
ces may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they ma
y eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

04. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the Gods for its life.

05. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

06. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

07. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

08. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.

09. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of all the Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fig
hting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior
code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

16. Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundarie
s and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.


ESTABLISHING NEW LAWS
When a leader wishes to establish a new law in the Clan, one they feel will be beneficial to the prosperity, and grow
th, and will continue to serve well when they retire, then they must present this law to the deputy and medicine cat.
There, they will discuss the idea and perhaps tweak the original idea to an ideal circumstance. Finally, they must pr
esent this law to the Clan, who will then vote through a systems called "stacking"───each individual, above appren
ticeship age, will come forward with a stone and place the stone at the foot of the leader. However, if they do not
agree to the law, then they will keep their stone and withhold from placing a stone. Once all of the stones are "stac
ked", there will be a counting of the stones, and if there is a majority of the stones placed there, then the law will
be implemented. The Clan often knows when there will be a "stacking" because, the day before the event, one woul
d see the deputy peeking their head into the dens and counting each individual among the Clan.
