Ash smiled when Echo told her it was for sale and nodded when she heard the price, a bit spendy but she had saved up enough that she would still be able to buy a few things after. Plus, even if she hadn't, her brother was worth it. So she opened her sack and pulled out the amount specified--plus a little extra, she was a diplomat after all--and set it on the counter. "Wonderful, I'll take it." She then looked at the sculpture--and it's many, fragile pieces--and asked, "Would it be a possibility for it to be wrapped? I would hate to see your hard work broken from the trip home."

Feather deflated a bit when he heard the price, he probably didn't have enough saved up for that. He was about to apologize for wasting the sculptor's time when his sister paid for it herself. He wanted to protest but a quick, discreet glare from Ash shut him up. He should have known that she was going to buy something for him today, she did it every time they went to a festival. Not that he could complain. He would thank her later. There was a sudden increase in the volume around him as new voices joined the crowd, but he taught history so he was used to lots of dragons talking. He cringed a bit and saw his sister do the same. She, as a diplomat, was also used to lots of dragons yelling at each other.

It took a minute for Echo to recover after the voices ceased. He then realized that Ash had spoken to him. He looked at the money that had been deposited, his eyes widening when he saw the extra, his half blind eyes looked at Ash then he nodded. He was still a little shaky as he started to wrap the statue. Once finished, he offered it to the Hybrids. “T-thank you for your purchase... I am sorry about freaking out...” He looked away sheepishly then set to cleaning up the project he had dropped

Firefly nodded then watched Birch go before turning to continue walking. He tensed and gritted his teeth when the voices began, trying to keep himself from getting overwhelmed. Firefly relaxed when the voices ceased. “What was that..?” He asked himself softly. And most of all, why did he feel as if everything had changed for him and some of the other dragons there?

She stiffened when she began to hear voices then crouched down in pain as a headache quickly developed. Oasis made a pained sound when the voices stopped and slumped to the ground. “Ow...” Murmured the Hybrid softly

Otter hissed softly when the voices started and then blinked when they stopped. "What in the world was that?" she wondered before looking around.

Hurricane winced slightly when the voices invaded her thoughts and shook her head when they had left. "Well that was weird," she said before looking over at her brother. "Hey, are you okay?"

Roadrunner's eyes widened in alarm when Oasis crouched and the groaned softly when he also got a headache. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked after the voices had stopped.

Birch growled and whipped his head around when the voices the started. His first thought was to whip out his blade but before he could the voices ceased. "What was that all about?" he muttered.

Phoenix looked at the unknown dragon. “Hey spooky ghost, are you a ghost?” She asked him, creating a wall of fire in front of her to defend herself.

Ash untensed when the voices stopped, flicking her ears as if to check that they were really gone. She nodded in acknowledgment when the Cavewing thanked her. "It will be well cared for." She said in a friendly tone, reaching for the wrapped statue. Turning to her brother held out the gift.

With the voices gone Feather felt much better. And standing here, holding his own, intricately carved statue of Lynx The Ivywing, he felt amazing. But he could still sympathize with the Cavewing's freakout. "Don't worry, It's completely understandable." He replied in what he hoped was a soothing voice. He carefully placed his new possession into his bag and slipped a wing over it. It wouldn't protect it much, but it made him feel better.

Phoenix stared at the unknown dragon as if it were at the festival. She stepped back and tried to throw a small fireball at the unknown dragon. The fireball flew past, and landed into the trunk of a pine tree!
