The only thing you're doing wrong is that you're using the formula for population standard derivation, where you divide by n, instead of the formula for sample standard deviation, where you divide by n-1. So there's only a slight error, my calculations of the problem can be seen below. Hope I've been to some help.

I HAVE A QUESTION!
TYPE OF QUESTION: English
YOUR QUESTION:
Who says and what does the quote "...bear with him and get his rights for him." mean?
The quote is from Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. This is the last quote meaning and who says
it I need to do but I'll get a detention if I don't do this one quote out of the twenty one.

It's Jekyll talking to Utterson in Chapter 3. Basically, he's saying that if he (Jekyll) disappears for any reason (which if you've finished the novella you'll understand why), then Utterson must help Hyde even if he doesn't want to ("Bear with him" means stick with him even if it's annoying) and "get his rights for him" is helping Hyde get all of Jekyll's assets.

“Well, but since we have touched upon this business, and for the last time I hope,” continued the doctor, “there is one point I should like you to understand. I have really a very great interest in poor Hyde. I know you have seen him; he told me so; and I fear he was rude. But, I do sincerely take a great, a very great interest in that young man; and if I am taken away, Utterson, I wish you to promise me that you will bear with him and get his rights for him. I think you would, if you knew all; and it would be a weight off my mind if you would promise.”

      I HAVE A QUESTION!
      TYPE OF QUESTION: programming! (specifically Java in jGrasp)
      YOUR QUESTION:
      We have an assignment where we have to mirror an image vertically and horizontally.
      I already have the part of actually flipping the image down, but the problem is it flips
      it from the center. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like -> horizontally, vertically

      If you are able to help me with this, I will send the code in a PM because it's quite a lot ;;
      Also, these methods are from the Picture Lab for AP Computer Science so you get a
      reference of what types of attributes and files I'm using ^^

      Thank you so much!

      edit: Solved it! Turns out I was having a problem when I was switching the pixel colors ^^;

Research Help Needed

Postby cedilla » Sat Apr 20, 2019 3:35 pm

I need help. I'm supposed to choose up to 15 places from this list and do some research on them. I've chosen 12 places and done a little bit of research on some of them, but I'm having trouble with both finding information and wording it properly. Any help you give me would be amazing, whether it's with wording what I have so far or telling me some info about any of the places.

This is what I have so far.
