Grai chuckled, "Is another game in order?" he teased as he looked at him.

Aryna laughed softly, "Hello you, why are you so tired? I thought your magic was nearly fool proof." she teased.

"A game, a reward, whatever you wish to offer..." Cedrick gave a soft purr, intrigued now.

"Alek is not affected by my magic and I exhausted myself out trying." Zona informed her.

Grai chuckled as he caressed his cheek, watching as he leaned into his touch, "If you tell me what magic you have seen him use, I will let you cuddle on my lap." he said.

Aryna chuckled, "Hmm, now that is a mystery." she said, "Has this ever happened to you?"

Cedrick spoke quickly. "Well, what I have seen him do is heal himself, the queen and others. He also seems to be able to manipulate and lock doors like you can but all his magic seems light and helpful." He explained to him. Once he had told him all he knew he happily cuddled in his lap, content.

"It has not." Zona informed her. "It's a real mystery..." He hummed.

Grai held him and hummed softly, "Strange," he said as he wrote it down, resting his head on Cedrick's as he wrote it down.

Aryna laughed, "I am going to check on our new friends." she said as she looked at him, "Want to come see them with me and try again?"

Cedrick contently cuddled to him, closing his eyes. His ears and tail twitched contently. "Very strange." He murmured contently.

Zona nodded. "Of course. We should check in with the king first just to make sure his pet is behaving and obeying his commands." He murmured.

"Now, about this Alek." he murmured as he stroked his hair and kissed the top of his head, "Tell me about him, and you will get a very large reward." he said softly, "He can't be affected by magic, so I am guessing he already has some kind of spell, or curse, on him." he murmured.

Aryna chuckled softly, "Are you sure you want to face his wrath already?" she asked with a teasing smile.

Cedrick gave a happy smile and purr as his hair was pat and he felt a kiss at the top of his head. At the promise of a large reward he thought, all of these seemed well worth betraying Alek. "Yes, he is affected by a curse." He murmured with a happy smile as he looked up at him.

Zona laughed. "Of course. I will be fine." He grinned as he began up the tower to his office.

"And what is this curse?" he asked with a soft whisper in his ear, gently stroking his other ear, listened to him, he was glad they had Cedrick on their side now.

Aryna chuckled softly and followed him, "I am sure you will."

Cedrick happily cuddled close to him. "He does not have his heart in his body. It's hidden in the castle. If you have his heart then you get to control him..." He revealed, kissing at his chin happily, glad to be of service. "That might be why he cannot be affected by spells..." He murmured.

Zona hummed and continued climbing.
