"i-" the princess removed her hands from the sleeve, tucking it up her arm in order to stop herself from touching it. a chuckle came out of her mouth as she glanced back up at him. "yeah.. she's back." zelda couldn't help but say it in a slightly gloomier tone, jealousy rushing through her mind as she saw link perk up at her name. of course, when she was finally getting somewhere with hiding her feelings.. but also showing them. of course she just had to bring up the girl who loved him. it wouldn't have been a shocker to her if he also felt the same way. the hylian instantly went cold, the replay echoing through her mind over and over again. not even his hug could help take her mind off of it, maybe it really wasn't meant to be. it was all just a distant reality that was out of her grasp, a dream or wish at best. "i'll set out to find them either way. i need to keep my mind occupied because of-" zelda shut her mouth before saying too much, a whole new level of embarrassment filling her. "..nevermind." her voice went cold, hanging her head over links shoulder as they hugged. it almost felt... wrong. she should have just given up at that point, because she knew that the jealousy would worsen once she found mipha, or if he found her. the princess pulled out of the hug, crossing her arms as she turned back to her original position. her head turned up to the sky, hoping to forget about the zora and the hylian. at that point, it was over for her.

and it was her fault.
she wanted to believe it wasn’t hers, though.
but the zoras instead.

zelda glanced over at the duo.. and bird, quickly averting her eyes to another location. "ah, i see.." what a catastrophic meeting, there could have been some sort of friendship between the two if tetra was willing to communicate, though it seemed she had better plans that didn't involve her. "i will be going now, my presence seems... unwanted by one of you." a mild glare met with tetra, since she had been showing a keen uninterest in conversing with the princess. "it would be better if i just left either way, farewell." with a quick movement, the hood of the cloak was returned onto her head. she pulled out the rapier, pushing it into her cloaks leather sheath to allow for easy use in emergencies. "a shame, really. we could have helped one another. but you seem unwilling.. tetra." the hylian faced in the opposite direction, looking in each direction to seek the best path to go through. it wouldn’t matter though since she would probably end up getting lost anyways. so she trusted her instincts and went for the woods. the gruelling search for midna was going to commence.. hopefully it wouldn’t be too difficult.

The goal of the game is to drop your opponent's Health Points to 0. There's three main types of cards, Beasts, Spells, and Traps. Beast cards are creatures that attack your opponent to lower their Health Points. Each Beast card has four numbers on it, a Health number, a Strength number, an Endurance number, and a Speed number. The Strength stat tells you how strong your beast is, and if your opponent doesn't have any Beast cards, that number is how many Health Points you lose when you're attacked. The Endurance stat is purely for Defensive Poses. If a Beast enters a Defensive Pose, it can only be damaged by Beast cards with a Strength stat that's higher than the defending Beast's Endurance stat. The Health stat tells you how much more damage your Beast can take before it's destroyed. If a beast is destroyed by another beast with a higher Strength stat, you take the difference as damage. In other words, if a Beast with 600 Strength was destroyed by a Beast with 700 Strength, you'd take 100 points of damage. Finally, the Speed stat chooses the turn order. When you put your first three Beasts on the field, you combine their Speed stats, and the player with more Speed moves first. I-Eh... sorry, I geek out like crazy about Battle Beasts, it was a really popular game back home.

Solark looked from Sidon to Mipha and nodded, "I'll agree to a trial. On one condition, that you Mipha, are my judge and jury. The other Zora have it burned into their heads that I was trying to kill them when I was just giving the water a grape flavoring from sea urchin venom, which isn't toxic to Zora. I may be beating a dead horse bringing up the fact that sea urchin venom isn't toxic to us, but it is the only way I will ever be able to explain my side of the story from five years ago, since I never got a chance to tell it back then." He knew that if he ever returned after his banishment, he would be put on trial, but at least now somebody would actually hear his side of the story, something that Sidon hadn't even considered listening to on that day.

Desolate Link was running from Ganon's minions on his hoverbike, blasting his blaster pistol at their legs, "Seriously Ganon, you'd think that after all this time, you'd make monsters that don't have such weak legs." As he stopped running, he found the place that Zelda told him about, Temporal Tower. The tower was extremely tall, but he still had to get to the top. Once he had finally gotten to the Pinnacle, he took out a blue gear and put it in a slot that matched the shape. He turned the gear to the left and a number appeared, which decreased as he continued to turn the gear. When the number reached 2019, he took the gear back out and put it on the ground, where it grew to a larger size and he stepped on it. The gear span around and took Link back 35 years into the past, taking him specifically where Temporal Tower would eventually be built. He saw another version of himself, a Gerudo, and... Saria! He sighed in relief, "I made it." when Split Link asked him who he was, he explained, "My name is Link. I'm from 35 years in the future." He looked at Saria and asked, "You wouldn't by any chance happen to be Saria, the Forest Sage, would you?"

Prince Sidon

Indignant toward the change of events, Sidon’s caudal fin lashed side to side but the prince refrained from saying anything. Mostly due to Mipha immediately moving on in the conversation. For the moment, the typically cheerful Zora was rather slate-faced except for the irritated look in his amber eyes.

He wasn’t a child. Far from it at this point. Being groomed for the throne and therefore making monumental or otherwise important decisions was expected since he had been the only heir for the past century. Mipha’s death at the time had launched him into a quick adulthood due to the load of responsibilities suddenly thrust on him. Sidon, while happy his sister was back, felt the sting of being metaphorically pushed to the side.

Keeping his voice at a neutral tone, careful to remain calm, Sidon directed his words at no one in particular. ”I would rather take the river the remainder of the way to the Domain.”

Kass

Tuned out of the conversation between Link and the boisterous stranger, Kass set to assessing and tending Phoenix’s wing. The minstrel carried his own small set of wing care items, of course, in the event he was hurt. Using the same items he aided the Loftwing using deft movements from years of practice.

Once finished, having run out of supplies but still taking care of the major issues, the macaw Rito spoke to Phoenix directly. ”I would suggest resting your wing as much as you can. If you would need anywhere to stay, the Rito Village is advisable — it has more like myself that would know how to help.”

He gave a small thanks to Spirit, before laughing a bit when ChiChi came over and settled on his head. He patted it a bit, a small smile on his face. He never knew cucco's could be this friendly. Perhaps this should tell him to stop being mean to them. After a moment, he picked up the cucco from his head, before returning it to Linkle's arms. When spirit mentioned that it will lead them to someone with a pure heart, he wondered if he'll see his older self again. True, he is still somewhat quite jealous, but he is still himself, and honestly, he's somewhat fun to be around with. He does question how the train finds it, although not at all surprising. After all, he's seen tracks leading to heaven and back down whilst floating in mid-air and supporting a heavy train. He wonders exactly how it finds someone. By sensing, perhaps?
He shrugged. Probably a Gerudo or something. Or perhaps another him. He's seen four now so far, so he wouldn't be surprised if he saw twenty more in a pack roaming.

"Well, I suppose the triforce doesn't correspond with actual personal traits." he said, laying flat on the ground again. "If it does, I wouldn't somehow have it as well... or well, the opposite version of it." he grumbled, before looking at Dark Zelda. "Although just be glad your side hasn't blinded you several times over. Ouwch, my eyes." he said, muttering the last part to himself.

Whoever this "roleplayer" is, or what it is, I seriously pity you. And don't go insulting my world either." he grumbled, slightly disoriented from the nightmare he just saw.

"Well, I suppose it does take time. But as long as you're determined to go on, and you're supported by others, I'm sure no matter what happens, it'll work out eventually." he said, looking back at the others, giving a small smile. "Ah, which reminds me, what does your dimensions princes- I mean, Prince, look like? Just so I know."

"Oh, so you're one of those. That begs the question, why aren't you attacking?" he asked, looking at Shade with morbid curiosity. "Out of all the ones we met, they have always attacked us or others." he said, walking to Illia's side, holding his hand out for the empty bottle, muttering quietly about not wasting.

He startled a bit when she heard a weird sound, half- taking out her weapons again, before realizing it's... another Link. Wow. Is he multiplying before her eyes? She gave a sigh, and raised an eyebrow when he said Saria's name. So.. this Link must be from one of her timelines. "So.... mind explaining to us why you're here? I suppose all you Links have some sort of business here. Mind you, I might need a list now. Keeping track of each and every one will be a pain." she said, staring at Desolate Link. His getup sure seemed weird to her. She half wanted to ask what he was wearing on his mouth and how he talked out of that, but realized it probably would sound rude.

As he released Zelda out of his hug, still smiling, but the smile dropped when he saw her face. He looked at her with worry again, once again asking the question. "Is... something wrong? You seriously seem out of this." he asked her quietly. His mind raced through all the possible situations, and reached a very possible conclusion. "If I am bothering you, you could've just told me. There's no need to try and save my feelings." he said, totally getting the wrong gist of it. "I just... thought you might have wanted some company.. so I.." he trailed off, slightly upset at himself, and looked down. He messed up, didn't he? He just wanted to help the princess, but in the end, he just ended up messing things up with his own hands. It was always like this. Even after 100 years, it was still the same. He sighed, messing with his hair absent-mindedly.

She gave the small kid a pat on her head, smiling gently at her. Never mind that someone else was watching, she can't let Link's sister feel bad. "Don't worry, we'll find him eventually. I am sure he'll be around somewhere. It's good to see you are safe though. I never thought you'd be caught up in this as well." She then gave a look to the retreating princess, and said after her "I never said I wasn't willing, I was just asking what you are doing here." she said rolling her eyes, but she could relate to her on a small level. "If you judge people at how they act first, then you are going to be gravely mistaken." she said, a twinge of guilt running through her guts at the thought of leaving the princess alone to navigate. Seeing it's a new land, there's bound to be new surprises hidden in, and no matter how capable she is, she can't let her other self go on all alone. Gently tugging Aryll, she followed behind Tp Zelda, slightly smirking at her as she passed to her side. "You can't shake me that easy. I can navigate this place, no matter if it's new or not. And I don't think you want to leave a kid with a bloodthirsty bounty-looting pirate, are you?" she said, with a slight teasing tone, never mind the fact that Aryll ran to her willingly. "Even if you don't care, I guess you are searching for something. I suppose I can lend some help. Unless... you were the one unwilling."

Desolate Link explained, "My name is Link. I come from an alternate reality. In my timeline, Ganondorf was never properly sealed away because he cast a curse on the Master Sword. Once he escaped the seal, he killed six of the Seven Sages, including Saria." He clenched his fist remembering his version of Saria's death. "Anyway, Zelda and I are the leaders of the Resistance against Ganon in my time. We heard about an object called the Gear of Time, and I used it to travel here so I can properly seal Ganon away."

"no.. no! it's not like that! it's not you, you're perfect.. please stop blaming yourself for my faults." the princesses head turned away from link, her heart stinging with hurt as she finally told him a reason as to why she was distant. "..i can't tell you the truth. i'm too scared to. i'm sure you wouldn't like to hear it either." she bit her lip, lowering her head as the two sat in silence. wondering why her rush to get to him was so urgent in the first place, if she knew that it would turn out like this.. she would have never come. it was too difficult for the hylian to say anything about, only hopes filled her brain that he wouldn't figure it out. she didn't want him to figure out, rather wanting to tell him herself. "but.. if you wish to know.. so be it."

"that will be determined at the domain, solark." answering his wishes of her being both the judge and jury.. though it seemed unfair, her as both jury AND judge? she wasn't going to do that, especially not with her bias towards him, it almost seemed like a play to get himself out of the banished zora list.. which she would need to tell her brother. the zora heard sidons voice, glancing downstream and nodding her head at him. "i understand if you must rest, but please meet us at the domain once you feel ready." the zora turned back to the river, moving toward it. "let's go now." she lowered herself into the water and glanced back at the three, awaiting their next move.

"your tone was saying otherwise." she glanced down at tetra, a small smirk forming on her face. the hylian was secretly very glad that the pirate had come to her senses.. kinda. "i guess not.. you would probably end up leaving her on a boat or something." she chuckled, looking forward to the forest. "i'm searching for an imp.. her name is midna. and i'm not unwilling.. in fact, i was secretly hoping you would follow me." the princess pulled down the hood in order to seem less closed off. she was happy to have the company of the three, that would probably make for an easy search for midna.. hopefully she would also be able to assist them in their search for aryll's little brother. perhaps even make friends with them along the way.
