maleficent is known for how malicious she is. she loves to destroy people's lives if they wrong her, and she takes an abundance of joy out of watching them suffer. her enemies fear her, and those who want revenge love her. if anything, she's like a hitman except to people's lives. kalons hire her to ruin their enemies' lives. you could call her "the life hitman".

her latest job was on a particularly sketchy and suspicious kalon, but she was the only one who knew his name. maleficent's employer had supplied her with all of the information needed, and she had enough to start the first phase - subtle but anonymous torture.

maleficent fixated her gaze on the man in the trench coat and watched as he hurried down the steps of the bank. he was a secret robber of some sort, but she would be the one to eventually catch him. for now, he'd never know what was coming.

from her place on the top of a roof of a random building, maleficent scrunched her nose and felt the magic surge through her veins before condensing on her paws for direction. she pointed at him, and a transparent wave flew through the air. it didn't hit him, but it hit a potted plant from the apartment above and barely missed him. of course, maleficent meant to do this.

he glanced around in alarm and looked at other people on the street, obviously wondering if they had something to do with this. she couldn't help but snicker in amusement and condense more magic between her two paws to prepare for the next part - not so subtle torture, but one that wouldn't give her away.

maleficent used the magic to send it to his feet, whipping wind around his coat and body. he stumbled slightly before fully falling, and tons of money flew out of his trench coat. to his dismay, the money lifted itself into the air and towards the building where the hitman was. maleficent snatched the dollars as they came by and stuffed them into a bag.

"just some more extra payment," she giggled to herself and tied the bag with a piece of rope. tomorrow she'd go after him - and his money - again.

Despite her weight and her shyness, Haley holds an amazing voice hidden deep in her soul. She's loved to sing since she was a little girl, but as a child, her voice sounded more "dying cat" than nightingale. Very quickly she was shamed into keeping quiet by her father, her friends, even her grandparents. They berated her for being overweight and for being shy, then denied her the passions she found solace in: singing and designing. Her voice took some time to mature, but when it did, it was a glorious sound that could take home an American Idol trophy in one show; but the damage was already done, and she refused to sing in front of people. Even her partner, who came home early unexpectedly and heard her singing, couldn't convince her to take that leap of faith. One night, though, her partner found a new show called "The Masked Singer" and immediately they were both hooked- and Haley was inspired. She wasn't brave enough to sing in front of other people, but this... a full body costume would not only hide her face and identity, but could be created to disguise her weight. So she put her own designing and building skills to the test, and made her own suit, based off of her favorite bird (and song), made a YouTube channel called "The Nightingale".

xxxxx☆ Haley's worst enemy is herself. She's very critical of herself and any work she does; you'll often find her tearing up a drawing, deleting a video of her singing, or talking bad about herself. She believes she's not only flawed, but that she's completely useless, even though she's actually perfect.

ρяσтαησρια Haley's dream is to one day design concert outfits for music artists all around the world; she loves to express her creativity through sculpting, weaving, and creating facades for artists to boast in front of their thousands of fans; its a way for her to be famous without actually having to be in the spotlight, and it suits her. She just has to get there first, and she knows that. But there's one huge setback: She suffers from a condition called protanopia, also known as "red colorblindness". This is what she sees. It makes it very difficult for her to work because she's never 100% sure what color she's working with; her partner helps her by choosing the colors and clearly marking her design sketches with the number on the fabric roll, so Haley knows she's picking the right fabric to make her next gorgeous creation. Right now she has a small store in a more popular part of town, a space owned by her partner's parents that they no longer use, just waiting for her big break to make it big.

The once pink planet that held the brightest and healthiest of plants is now drenched in brown. Her planet, destroyed, not to be remembered, especially being a very young kit. Nova didn't have any exact idea on what was going on, but she knew something was wrong. Everyone ran in fear and confusion. Light like fire came blasting towards the rocks. And little Nova had only one mother to keep her safe.

The planet was heating up more than ever. The leader tried to keep his calm, trying to fit everyone in tiny rockets to fly away. Nova was squished into a small circular window. Everyone was worried. This has never happened before. While the rockets have been tested around the planet, nobody knows if it will take them to peace. Nova however, looked at the beautiful planets around her and wondered what else was to come.

"What is this?"
The queen unwrapped the cloth around a small kit. It had glooming colours like space, and a small sparkle that lit the queen up for a second. "A kit? Where did you find her?" Guards crowd around and one speaks:
"She was just underneath some piles of seaweed, near lots of pieces of steel and metal. I'm not sure."
"A crashed boat perhaps?" The queen questioned.
The guard swayed, "I'm not sure. It certainly didn't look like one."
"Did you find any treasure?"
"No, just the kit."
The queen peered over at everyone surrounding her. She thought of where she must come from.
"This little kit definitely holds something. She's already surviving underwater." The queen sighed. "We need groups to go back over there and see where this sparkle eye came from." She grinned and became a bit curious of this beautiful kit.

"This is insane, Nova."

Everything in Nova ached, not just physically, but mentally too.
"I just feel it! If I don't go back I will never be myself again."
The queen glared into her eyes. "How do you know this?"
"It's a message! My horns are acting up, their trying to lead me there! I haven't been since the crash, and I can't stop thinking about it."
"You're so honoured to be here Nova. Everyone has loved you since you've come here. You've helped us with so many things in the kingdom, you can sense danger and have prevented serious storms from it!"

Nova curled up in a small corner, with hundreds of seashells she would collect as a kit. "That was a long time ago. You see how weak I am now. I look at that glowing planet everyday, I can see it's very small dot in the sky. It's gotten brighter every single day. Those plants were my strength. And my strength has disappeared.
"I promise, I have commanded the best healers in these waters! You will heal quick."
Nova sighed. "I don't like this either. Though I know it's the best choice to get me up again. That's what kept the little pink planet safe. Until fire came crashing."

The space-like kalon peered up at the light through the water. Her horns struck lightning and a strong force blasted her away in seconds.

"NOVA!"

But she was already gone.
