Sites that DO NOT allow off-site trading [Old thread]

Post here for trades involving items, pets, points or currency from other websites (FR, Wajas, mweor, etc)

dA doesn't allow to trade their points for virtual currencies and the like.
I'm not sure about Facebook but someone showed me an extract of their rules about some kind of point system which doesn't allow off-site trading. Sorry, it's so long ago, I don't really remember.
I was a member once on Gaia and they have never allowed off-site trading.

Dreams in Neon wrote:Hmm, I'm curious about Webkinz. On Webkinz Insider, {which is not afflicticated with Ganz in any way} allows you to set up trades for Webkinz items within certain requirements. {For example, you need 50 non-fluff posts and be in good standing.} I know for a fact Ganz knows WI exists, and allows them to do this. Just pointing this out, maybe someone already did, and I apologize if they did. :)

EDIT: There is a rule saying you can't sell accounts for real money, but it doesn't specify anything about items.

I was looking through Howrse, and I went to the "Help" page but there's nothing that says we can't do offsite trading.
I have moved to Advanced Scribes.
If you need to find me I'll be there.

8. Virtual Equus

At their registration, the Player is automatically credited with a certain sum of "virtual Equus", without any real value, which are not convertible, exchangeable or refundable, and may only be used within the framework of the Game.
[...]
9. Pass

In addition to virtual Equus, the Game offers Players the opportunity to purchase a "Pass", enabling:

Access to specific functions detailed in the Terms,
Additional rights, in particular in order to increase the ability of horses, develop the breeding or equestrian centre more rapidly.

Like the virtual Equus, the "Pass" does not have any real value, is not convertible, exchangeable or refundable, and may only be used within the framework of the Game.

I can only find something about not selling their stuff for real life currencies in the Terms of Service.

Vis Servo doesn't
"No sale of site items/currency/credits/accounts for any Other Game/Site content. This includes referral bribes."

(I can screen shot it if you need since VS is invite only now)

Yes, Mweor does...?

That's why so many people use it to trade for CS stuff.

Renta Rose wrote:There seems to be some misunderstanding going on with regards to Rule #9:

Sale of items/pets from other games is not allowed.

It really is just as the rule says.

You cannot post a topic selling/buying/trading other game pets or items! Currencies and accounts are allowed so long as the other game allows it, but you cannot advertise pets or items for sale/trade such as CS pets, Furry-Paw collars, WH llamas. Saying you are looking to trade/sell Mweor items/pets/currencies for other game items/pets is not allowed. It is still engaging in the sale of items/pets from other games!

We will be cracking down on Rule number 9 in the upcoming days. If you have topics like these please edit them to remove the content breaking the rules. All topics created after this reminder will warrant a warning. Thank you!

See? It even specifically mentions CS stuff!
