Do you ride horses?

I've already posted most of my stories...but I'd just thought I'd mention that my dad thinks my horse is part blind! Is it possible for him to be part blind but still see jumps and race up to them? He always knows when things are there so is it really possible?!?!?!?!

horses cant see the jump anyways (: they are 'blindly' jumping them , all horses do, because they cant see a certain distance in front of their face (: as for a real blind horse jumping, i dont really know. you may want to google it

Try taking the things he spooks at and have them around him.
Pet him with those objects that he is afraid of.
Maybe even repeating the scenario once he's used to the object to show him how to behave around that object.

That's like Smokey. I was leading him back along the road after the hack and there was a plastic bag caught in a bush. He leapt straight into the middle of the road. :I
He also has this strange fear of fallen branches, he always spooks at them. >.>

Just show him its not to be afraid play with it yourself show him its okay then if he becomes curious let him touch it himself and such.
Horses can see the sumps just not the direct line between there eyes like when they freak out when you just reach out and touch their forehead instead of their chin or cheek before their forehead they cant see between their eyes but the jumps are wide enough for them to see. ^^

Well, he's a foal. Foals are brats. Do you have a professional trainer that has experience with foals working with him with you?

We have a horse that runs away when you go to catch him at my barn, his name Monty. My friend went to go catch him and she ended up chasing after a galloping horse around the twenty acere pasture. It was pretty funny.....

It's funny until you have to do..like me T.T LOL What I'd do for Hemi <3

T.T I tortured myself by looking at online horse adds...I know I can't have a horse...but...they are so tempting. I found a lovely perfect Chesnut TB. He is 8, very smooth, does dressage, and used to event but had an injury. <3 <3 He IS sound now, just shouldn't jump high. Oh my...MOMMY DADDY PLEEEEAAASSSEEE!
