zelda awoke thirty minutes later, noticing the blanket which was now covering her. her eyes shot over to link, a warm smile forming on her face. the princess crawled over to him, throwing the soft fabric over his shoulder. "thanks." she chuckled, pulling her bag over into her lap, rummaging through until she finally found the brace in a hidden pocket of leather in the bottom. "i'm so stupid.. how did i not remember that?" she groaned to herself, taking off both of her soaked boots and socks. the hylian pulled out her mother's ointment, it always helped any type of strain in her legs when she was younger. maybe the gerudo could benefit from some too?
as soon as the container lid popped off, a fresh, herby smell filled the air. the princess took a glob of it and smeared it on her ankle, the pain being instantly relieved. she slipped the brace on and searched the larger pocket of the bag, finding a change of clothes, some sandals, a pair of fur boots, socks and a light jacket. thank hylia she didn't forget. she slipped a sock on her right foot and covered both of her feet with the warmth of the boots. her dress, on the other hand, was still soaked. but she could wait it out until there was a place she could actually change her clothing.
after finishing, she put her head on links shoulder and stared right at the fire. "what am i going to do..? ganon is back and it's my fault." the princess glanced over to the wolf and midna, at least they were having a good time.

mipha smiled at lumene in thanks for taking the container off of her hands. the shadow.. power freaked her out, but she tried her hardest to seem infatuated by it. "that's so cool! all i've got is this lame healing ability." the zora purposefully spoke down on her own powers to make it seem like she was weak. hopefully, that could lure any type of malice out behind what he was really trying to do. they began walking down the path to zora's domain. she couldn't be more excited to finally reach her home and figure out what the blood water really was. the princess began trailing back a bit so that she would have an opening to speak to the rito without kralos hearing.
"we need to keep that water away fom him, who knows what will happen to the domain if he managed to.. i don't know, contaminate the water, harm any zora? " she wished that the rito understood her worries. bringing him with them was much too dangerous, but she was willing to take the risk. "no matter the case, i can't wait to see my father again." the zora brought up her family in an attempt to raise the mood, worrying lumene was her last goal, as she was her only support right now.. other than her brother of course.
"it's been too long since i've seen him. do you think he will even remember me?" she joked, glancing up the path. there wasn't much longer before they arrived. and daytime was going to arrive soon, but being in the moment without zoras worshipping her arrival was more enjoyable. "let's slow down, i'd like to enjoy some of the scenery.. it's been a while." the zora explained, keeping up her pace with lumene, her vision switching to look at her.
"hopefully i just bought us enough time to make a plan.. do you have any ideas what to do when we arrive?" the former champion lowered her voice, thinking up ideas as to what they should do with kralos and the water when they finally get to the domain.
