i also think for the most part it looks good! but what about the newly omgsrs?
and would we keep the nons and malk tier the same or not? it may be better to put a bit more pets that, for the best estimate are close in rarity, so there isn't too much confusion on the number of tiers.

Pretty sure people will hate this idea but can we just revamp the list in the sense that all the OMGSR’s should be above any VR? It is dueable with the rarity changes. Obviously pets that were OMGSR before the rarity change will be placed higher than the ones that just changed and obviously ones that have been fluxating will be placed slightly higher than the ones that just changed.

I'm going to pop in here as a thread stalker/non poster to voice my opinion. This idea actually makes more sense to me. OMGSRs should be at the top of the list. Mozzy. offered up this rearrangement based off of release dates and rarity/rarity changes a while ago. Something like that with the OMGSRs arranged within those top tiers based on their release dates, fluctuations and "demand" would make a lot more sense I think. Especially if those things (release date, rarity fluctuations, demand) were only in comparison to the other OMGSRs. So for example, an OMGSR rat with low demand would be at bottom of the OMGSR groupings but still above any VR.

From what i could read, we all agreed on moving the omg so rares all up. I like the list alina although i do think we cant just move pets like that, we need polls to allow community input.


We were talking about grouping some pets together from lower on the list to minimun how many polls we have to run. What do people think about that? For example, run one poll for all speckled rats combined eith the orange cerb?

It's a nice idea, and if this would work, I would agree. The only problem with this is that even after voting, people will end up paying less for the rats and more for the cerb because the placements might feel forced. The thread will appear to be inaccurate because people won't go off of what the thread says, which just re-creates our current issue. I think a revamp of the list is necessary. It will be a lot of work but there will be input and help from the community, and it might prove to be more efficient in the long run. I really do appreciate all of the work that you put into the current list, but as of now, I believe it's a bit outdated. It might help if the list is re-done to fit the current rarities instead of working around other pets. I do understand that you want to keep the list because of the amount of work you put into it, but I feel like it's not working and we need to make a change. (Hopefully this makes sense. I did not mean to offend anyone if I did.)

I disagree with the list provided only because I believe the UR B.wolf and Zebras are the rarest pets arroding to VR/OMGSR fluctuations. The UR Tiger went OMGSR in '11 while the UR B.wolf went up in '10 and hasn't dropped since; which is why multiple opinions are important

I don't think the votes would be accurate if we bulked the cerb and rats together, it would (reluctantly) be more accurate to move the Eat me and Cerb together

But I could see grouping the rats and cerb together as a way to lessen higher votes

I think you are misunderstanding me. Revamp and moving pets up are two different things.it seems like you are saying that we need to move the pets that went omg so rare up and calling it a revamp, correct me if im wrong :)

The list is not as outdated, because we are moving pets around. Its only those we had no idea were so rare (because of a faulty rarity system, nobody could possible know) and those we are now discussing on moving thus reflecting their rarity.

The list is a guide, im not worried about people putting their own demand onto tiers because eventually, everybody will do that. We cant stop that from happening. We cant (or shouldnt?) put omg so rares low because of demand anymore, thats what the communtity decided. So we pick poll ranges based on rarity and let people voice their demand by voting, thus creating a situation with as little demand as possible.

If you group less demand and great in demand pets together, like the rats and the cerb, people will hopefully choose the middleground, thus counting demnad, in this case good and bad demand, less on all these pets. That seems like the way to go.

The list doesnt force people to trade their pets for something so in the end, regardless of where you put a pet, people will trade it for what they can get. It would be fair to the rats to move them up due to their rarities and not looking at their bad demand.


I just want to make clear that im pro updating the list and moving the pets, its just not called a revamp as that implies completely starting over which we arent. We are updating, thats the goal right? :)

I like Alina's list minus the ones that are VR that turned OMGSR should really be lower since it makes more sense. I feel like we should make an overall list with the a proposed tier with pets that are a bit more straightforward to place and then worry about the majority of the new OMGSR's. Maybe create a new list (which honestly needs to be done since the old list really doesn't work with all of these changes) using the older OMGSR and create tiers based on that and then move around the new OMGSR's.

Maybe something like this for ranking (obviously multiple tiers, etc.):

Older OMGSR's (like UR Tiger, UR Rat (it changed before the tiger, and moonswirl and maybe some other pet)
OMGSR's that have flux'ed but haven't changed in some time
OMGSR's that fluxed more recently than others (like the Bengal)
New OMGSR's and new UR's that are OMGSR (these will be placed after we get the OMGSR's before the change placed)


I don't know if I am making sense, but the list really just needs to be redone (redone in my opinion means updating and fixing things) at this point and the only way we can place anything is if we figure out the new tiers and if we come up with a proposed idea we can post it and get a poll going to see how the rest of the community feels and it will give a good guideline so we can place the new OMGSR's.

The Aussie should not be worth 2 sorbets in my opinion, it trades for 1 non and has been omgsr in the past.
