Tala stared at Slade, then turned her gaze to Kasumii, her face confused and questioning.

Kasumii looked down at Tala. "Slade's half demon, that's why he didn't die." He mumbled. Slade's wings went into his back, as if nothing was ever there. He faced Tala. "It's more like a curse than a gift."

"Well..." Tala stood up and glanced at her paws. "At least you're safe." She turned and began to walk away.

"But you're not." Kasumii said, taking a few steps away from Slade.

Tala stumbled her way back to the stream. She took a long drink and a bath, trying to calm herself down.

(Slade was shoved into the lake by the dog, and they just found out that he's a half demon.)

Kasumii growled at Slade. Slade turned his head to the side, letting his bangs uncover his amber eyes. He smiled, looking down into the water. Kasumii cocked his head to the side and sat down.

"He doesn't remember his changing. Thats...odd."

Tala flopped down beside the river. "Do I not know anyone anymore?" she asked herself.

Kasumii heard Tala. "You'll get used to it soon. Heck, it took me almost a year to get used to being a leader!" He said, smiling.
