Shadow Link smirked at her, hoping she didn't notice. "I think I know what you mean..... Wolfy, all through my life I've been denying this feeling, denying love, friendship, and hope, though when I'm around you, they creep up on me and I've learned to enjoy it. I've never felt this way before, and to know that you actually love me, a monster, I can truly be happy now, even if it is only around you." He looked at his hands, feeling as though a weight had left his shoulders. He had to admit that confessing this to someone was a big relief, and he thought that this might be the start of a new beginning.....
