the world is basically this anthro-sort of world where vaikis are like the “humans” of the world meaning they talk and are sentient and stuff. and all other animals are like regular (minus a select few*) meaning the ‘kis can have a dog for a pet if they wanted. they typically dont wear pants/shoes but its much personal preference on wether of not they wear a shirt or not. and so this is probably boring you lets get to the good stuff- the lore.
so the world used to be normal, everything was how it should be. legends and myths and stories and fairytales and movies are a central part to many vaikis, they probably have more universal stories that everyone knows (like cinderella ; the ugly duckling ; romeo & juliet) than we do on earth.
but one day, some of these storybook characters, after dying in their own world, started spilling into my world and they carry the magic from the tales too. sometimes a villian even comes over too. every once and a while another one appears but nobody knows how or why they come. (*the animals (such as wolves) from legends/stories are sentient & can talk n stuff just as the vaikis can) every one wakes up in a shock and starts off knowing they arent home but unknown to the fact they arent in their world anymore, and eventually has to learn and adapt to this new world whilst getting the help from the vaikis who live there to defeat the villains who do come. if they have the resources, they can teach others the magic from their world if there is any, which leads to some conflicts of magic vs magic.
so for example one of the stories that comes true is the legend of capri, which tells the legend of a vaiki who lived in a mountain who had these magical betta fish that could heal people with a kiss on the finger. he became greedy and wanted the whole mountain to himself and so he would chase away anyone who dared disturb his cave, but one time a vaiki group fought back strong and nearly killed him, but one of them made the group spare his life. they raided his home and slaughtered his betta. after he woke up from being knocked out, whilst weeping over his fish, one of the invaders who is still hidden, hits capri in the head with a stone again. he wakes up on a mountain in the other world and is very dazed and confused. he wonders around a bit and ends up slipping and sliding down part of the mountain. whilst doing so, he slides past a mountain-hiker named kalani, who is very confused by what just happened. she goes back down to see if he needs help and to see if he is okay, and ends up walking him back down and taking him to her cottage- a winter home she stays in every year for vacation. she nurses the injured vaiki back to health lets him stay with her. he tells her about what happened to him and shes like ‘is this true are you reallyyyy from a legend.’ but then she hears about all these other appearances of people from fictional stories. kalani shows him all the technology he missed/wasnt invented yet, and she gets him to fly back with her to her real home which is at a beach and asjsgajaj basically they fall in love and have two children and he adapts to the technology but still grieves over his fish rip
i’m super duper excited to see vaikis back on cs. i can’t work deviant very well and generally don’t use it often, so the move kinda put a halt on my activity in the community but now i’ll be back!! there’s not much new with me other than i crawled came out of ‘the closet’ in december, now type in this fancy shmancy purply blue color, don’t capitalize like anything ever, use a lot more keysmashes (asdfhsjjsgs), and have a a few more vaikis than i did when vaikis first moved to deviantart.
since growths n transfers are open are i am in need of someone to help me grow my baby ‘kis! i have four kiddos on the baby lines that need to be grown, although i think one i need to wait a month before growing so here are the other three!:

also!!! i never really had much connection in my vaiki world but im actually planning on revamping everything and giving it all one solid plot line. unlike my viscet and kalon worlds, which i dont let anyone else join in on, i plan on eventually trying to open it up to other people’s vaikis too so i am not so alone in the development! like seriously i dont let anyone touch my ic stories for all my other closed species characters and every relationship happens in an au, whether it is their au or a separate one. agsjajghsjag its not good i know.
ok but now you may be wondering, “hey so what is this world anyway” and thats a good question.
i have no idea.
