A Pillowtail is a Puma like creature with horns and an EXTREMELY fluffy tail, and best of all, they come in both sleek and extra fluffy varieties! They are passionate creatures and very loving; if you don't love them they'll make you love them!! They are able to go in freezng weather and are very nice too all animals, and may even gain enough love and respect for a certain animal or creature to befriend them as a pet, and if their bond is so strong they can communicate with each other. They come in many shapes, colors and sizes! So keep and eye out for these lovable fluffballs as they are now released into our world to spread happiness and love!

"You're broken down and tired..."

Kura sat staring at the picture of her best friend, remembering the times they had spent together, the gold on her arms glowing in the light.

"...Of living life on a merry-go-round..."

Each day was the same old thing. Day in and day out, living without feeling, but it was getting harder as the time passed.

"...And you can't find the fighter..."

She was struggling to figure out what how to keep going, keep fighting.

"...But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out..."

She stood up, finally realizing that she needed to take a leap of faith in the hopes that the universe would catch her.

"...And move mountains..."

She nodded to herself, believing for once that she can move forward.

"... We gonna walk it out..."

She would take a step forward for her friend.

She took the leap of faith, smiling for the first time in what felt like ages.

Kura laughed as her best friend made a face out the window of the small aircraft carrying them to their vacation destination.
It was dark, the city below getting closer as they descended.

"Look at those pretty lights! It makes the city below us look like a bright ant colony!" Her friend commented, before squealing, "Hey look! We're landing, we're landing!"

Her friends excitement was catching, but it didn't last for long.
Out of the corner of her eye, Kura noticed a bird catch the motor of the wing. Her first thought was, "The poor bird!!" Before the jet burst into flame. She screeched, alarms from the cock-pit reaching the common area as the co-pilot opened the door. "OH MY GOD."

The plane shuttered, lilting sideways. Her friend struggled with the seatbelt, screaming the entire time. "HELP ME!" But the plane rolled, catching her friend off guard. Kura hit her head on her seat, the world going blank.

She didn't want to remember, so instead, she lifted her head up, and breathed, "Through my eyes, you shall watch the world, through my body, you will feel, through my heart you shall love, and through your memory, the cracks in my skin shall heal with threads of gold."

Prompt:
When young, Monet and his siblings would play in the mountain snow every day, enjoying the soft ground that could cushion them, and how they seemed to disappear in the blanket of white. Closely supervised by their parents, they were prohibited from playing outside of the space before the den, for much of the mountain was also covered in slippery ice and hidden dangers that only a grown Pillowtail could recognise.

As they awoke on the darkest day of the year, their parents left to collect food. They were warned to stay in the den, far away from the snow, and to keep themselves warm and dry. With a final goodbye, their parents left for their mission.

The young Pillowtails played enthusiastically in the den for what seemed like hours. However, their parents had still not returned. The eldest of the three became restless and impatient, and slowly took a step out of the den. The sky was clear, and the breeze was no harsher than usual. Checking their parents weren't around, the eldest jumped out into the snow, encouraging his siblings to follow. Monet was the last to leave the safety of the small cave, hesitant to disobey the instructions they had received.

The three rolled and ran in the snow, and the eldest convinced the other two to join him outside of their usual play spot; they knew it was forbidden, but that only motivated them to explore even further. Made smaller by the snow, they were now just three dots against the white landscape.

"We should go back," Monet said, his voice tight, "That storm is close, and we aren't even supposed to be out of the den."

The other two brushed off his warning, the eldest teasing him for his cowardice.

"We never get to leave the play spot, why should we stop here? We won't get in trouble if we get back quickly enough, anyway, so- hey, come look at this ledge!" the eldest said, running to stand upon a sheet of rock that stuck out over the sheer sides of the mountain. As they all arrived, they realised that they could see the valley from here; far below them, yet also covered in snow, with small plumes of chimney smoke drifting out of the stone houses. The overhang above their heads was covered in snow, small icicles hanging precariously from the jagged underside.

"Look at the village down there! It's so tiny!" the second sibling exclaimed, astonished.

"And the mountains are way taller than we thought... hey, do you think they'll hear me from up here if I yell loudly enough?" the eldest questioned, before immediately trying to scream at the top of his lungs. There was a gentle echo of his voice around them, and some of the snow behind them landed in a pile near his tail.

He yelled again, enjoying the sound of the mountains responding.

As he quietened, the three could hear a rushing sounds behind them; turning, they froze in horror as the snow, piled high above them, was suddenly tumbling at them. They jumped in all directions, desperate to evade the frozen tsunami. Monet dove under the rocky overhang, trembling and tiny as the snow continued to plow over the ledge and into the valley below.

Terrified, unable to move any further, he closed his eyes, waiting for the rumbling to cease.

When he slowly pried his eyes open once more, there was silence. The avalanche was over, and had left a new sheet of serene white behind it. The gentle footprints he and his siblings had left were gone.

He tried to stand, his legs wobbling violently from the shock, and numb from lying on the cold stone. Monet stumbled as he tried to lift his uncooperative legs through the deepened snow. He looked around, dazed, for any sight of his siblings, trying to call out for them, only for no sound to emerge as his voice cracked and failed.

The further he walked, the more he felt his throat begin to swell, and a stabbing pain made it difficult to focus. He could see no sign of either of his siblings, and the deafening silence around him was crushing him. With each step he grew more frantic, more panicked, until he fell over, feeling weak and ill.

Eventually, his parents heard the sound of whimpering as they were returning to the den. They found Monet, alone, rushing him back to the den and out of the cold.

His siblings never returned home, and Monet felt an incomprehensible guilt for having not done more to stop them that day. Over time, he became more assertive in his need to do what was right, refusing to allow others to take unnecessary risks. Although still grieving, Monet is strong, and acts as a good influence for those around him.

He ensures that he listens to everyone, and does not simply ignore them or believe he knows better. If one gives him advice, he will heed their words, and he has taught many others when they need to listen themselves.

His sorrow is what truly made him as kind and empathetic as he is; Monet finds food and water for the ill, watches the young Pillowtails while their parents leave, and is willing to help anyone in need. Even through the worst winters, he shares his food with the others, no matter how hungry he goes himself.

Because of this great loss, Monet became who he is now.

I don't quite remember how it started. I just remember noticing my flaws, more and more. Not because of bullies,
as I was popular enough. It was more that I was seeing myself through critical lenses.

From there it all went downhill. I tried to become better, but nothing worked. I would never be good enough.
I chided myself for caring, saying I was just another wannabe. I tried to believe I was good enough, but I couldn't.
I was drowning in self loathing. I couldn't do anything without regretting it. I couldn't do anything at all.

I hated myself. I deserved to feel pain. I hurt myself, again and again.
I fell into a hopeless cycle of tears and fear. I hated myself.

Those who noticed tried to help me, but it was no use. I got nothing out of their attempts. I was completely broken.

As I cried for the hundredth time, I realized that there had to be another way.
No attempt to rescue me from my dark abyss had ever worked, but maybe I could rescue myself.
I resolved to try.

The progress was slow. It was so easy to sink back into my dangerous habits. There were many times when I wanted to forget changing entirely. There were times when I did give up, but never for long.
Somehow I would always get back up.

here was no big moment. No sudden epiphany. Yet somehow I began to improve.
I still noticed my imperfections, but I began to accept them.
I realized that I was never broken, just cracked.

I repaired myself piece by piece.
I wouldn't wish the experience on my worst enemy, but it did ultimately help me.
I went through hell, and I am so much stronger because of it.
