Takash watched as the female began sorting her herbs out for the next morning, "You should sleep and finish that busy work in the morning... You'll need your rest." He told her as a growl rolled from his maw. As he spoke he slowly scooted the pup out from against his chest. "Sleep with the pup... He will be dead by morning if he stays with me. "He told her as he stood up. Walking over towards the entrance of the den, the black, shadow covered wolf laid back down with a tired huff leaving his jaws.
Unfortunately, the two knew very little about Gunter. Allowing a disappointed sigh to escape her lips, Heaven stood up to leave the two. "It seems we have little to go off of for this dog hunt... We will find him eventually." She told them before giving them a light smile. "Yes, please keep the pups here. We still have no idea where North is... I pray her and Coyote are safe and well." She informed them. "We will take what help we can get, yes Mary, stay with your as well as my deputies pups. Even just a few extra noses will be just fine." She told her before turning completely from the pair and starting towards the door. "We will start the hunt right before daybreak... for now my pack needs time to mourn." She informed them. With that being said, Heaven padded just out into the next room when suddenly an old friend had appeared before her, through teleportation. For a moment, the alpha of the wolf pack stared with surprise, "A-Alistair!?" She managed to get out "W-Where have you been all this time!?" She asked him her expression was a mix of overjoy and sorrow. For a moment, the wing wolf's tail wagged back and forth quite strategically until the male began to inquire about the current situation. "I'll tell you about it on our way back home." She told him softly as her ears fell back and her tail began to rest once more. "You've been gone for quite some time... Snow probably doesn't even remember you." She told him as she padded on passed him. "She was only a newborn when you vanished... Why did you leave this time, Alistair?" She asked him. Of all times for him to return, now her mind and heart was whirling with more emotions...
Listening to Blue, her soothing voice was enough to get him to calm down somewhat. "This is a crime that no dog or wolf should go unpunished for... I hope they do find him... And when they do I want to be the one to rips his head off." He told her through gritted teeth. Having known Carson most of his life, it hurt as if he had lost a close relative, in a lot of ways the young male looked up to Carson as an uncle, he was definitely a role model to the brute. Feeling his mates lick and nuzzle him, Takoda sighed softly before nuzzling her back. Upon the request to rest and calm down, Takoda growled softly before lowering his ears in submission, He couldn't say no to Blue. She had him wrapped around her paw, "Fine..." He said softly as a low rolling growl exited his throat. The brute smiled as his mate nuzzled her face into his neck fur. "I'll go back to my... our den." He told her before licking the top of her head between her ears.
With a light smile, Ayana followed alongside Shiloh. The sky had darkened quite a bit since they had laid the Carson and his son to rest. Lifting her head up, the collie admired the star-filled night sky, even in winter the night sky was still just as beautiful as ever. Hearing Shiloh stop in his tracks, the collie's attention was pulled back towards him. Soon after, the wolf's mate watched him roll about in the snow, flipping from one side to another, it was quite comical really. Feeling a small giggle roll passed her canines, "You made a snow angel!" She told him as another sweet chuckle left her maw. Stepping up beside him, still with a warm smile on her muzzle, the wolf's mate tenderly nuzzled him before checking him over. Shiloh had managed to get all the blood off his pelt with the help of the snow, returning his golden pelt to its former glory. Stepping back a little as she gave her small nod of approval, "Bright, shiny, and new again." She told him softly as her tail swayed back and forth behind her. Before stepping away to continue on their journey back to their den, Ayana gave the brute a loving lick to the cheek. Though the day had been filled with sadness and grief, there was still something to smile for at the end of the day.
Turning to face the brute, the red dusted fea watched the males body language. It was pretty clear, the way he hung his head and kept his eyes on the snow, he didn't want to talk about it. Once she had changed the subject he had seemed to lighten up, however, this didn't last long. As the brute finally spoke up saying he had to go, "Wh-What? Why?" Yuna quickly questioned as the brute turned tail and ran from her. Feeling the urge to chase after him, the female did just that. Why? She didn't know... maybe she enjoyed having someone there that actually canceled out her powers. Or maybe it was actually because she felt comfortable around this male, unlike the others. "W-Wait! " She called out as she ran after him. Soon, the male had gotten quite the distance between the two of them, "Please..." She muttered breathily as she huffed. The weight of the snow weighing down on her paws, it was almost like trying to run through thick mud... Slowing down a bit, the fea trotted through the demon-like wolve's snow trail. Catching her breath, she quickly picked up her pace and started after him once more. Following his footsteps, The fea soon was able to see him just ahead of her. but he wasn't alone... Pausing about a few yards away, Yuna watched this other male come into view, landing just a yard or two from the male she'd come to know... He smelt of a pack. At first, the wolf began to back away, packs made her uncomfortable however she secretly always wanted to be in one. Shaking off the discomfort that was trying to consume her, Yuna quickly padded up behind Eclipse and around to his side, she wasn't going to run off an leave him out of fear. Her red eyes looked over Shard, somewhat sizing him up. She had heard his question upon her arrival and she knew how Eclipse reacted to her own question earlier. "Can loners not simply pass through?" She asked him as her eyes narrowed a bit. She stood tall beside her demonic looking companion, ready to defend him. Sure, she was uncomfortable around others but she wasn't a coward by no means...
Lifting her nose to the air as her youngest asked about the pup not that far from them, Lilly's facial expression changed to some slight shock. "She's a wolf pup, she's not a dog at all. " She told her pups gently as a kind smile rolled over her face. "The others are wolves as well... " She told them, so far, all the mother could do was rely on her nose to see the world around her for her eyesight was very poor now. The Akita lowered her head to her paws as she watched her pups, their blurry figures were so fuzzy, she could hardly tell her sons apart.
Nodding his head to his younger brother, Akin liked the idea he had, "Yes, let's get mom food." He told him before listening to his mother's response to Kai's question about Snow. "She's a wolf? But mom she doesn't smell all that different from us." He told her, that was when their mother smiled brightly, her eyes seemed distant.. as if she was looking past the two of them. "That's because you two are special." She told them softly before licking their foreheads before returning her head to her paws.
For a while, the brute laid there with his head on his paws, his eyes showing he was brooding over something. Soon the demon wolf stood up, turning from the two the brute growled, "If anyone leaves this den... I'll know and the pup will die." He warned before padding out into the forest. Slowly, the wounded wolf walked through the darkest parts of the forest, his body slinked along until he reached the edge of the woodlands. "Finally..." He muttered he had found the pups scent moments before. Stepping out on to the silent and dark city street, the wolf slowly meandered across until he arrived at an empty building. The scent of dogs was old but, their territory had to be close. Pausing Takash chuckled darkly to himself. "Shadows, my lovely shadows... Find her." He whispered through his clenched fangs. "I want her back... now..." he growled. Pushing his own mind off onto shadows, the dark figures jumped from dark place to the next. Before long, the silhouette had arrived in the warehouse, sticking to the shadows they waited for the correct moment to take control of the pups mind. Identifying the correct pup, the shadows slowly moved in closer to Alessa, until they quickly soaked into her body, as if she was a sponge, taking control of her mind and body.
Feeling her cheeks become warm as he addressed her as 'darling' Heaven looked away for a moment, it had been too long since she'd heard that term of endearment, much too long. He, Alistair, was the only one who ever called her Darling and continued to do so even after she was with her first mate, and later Malachi. Thinking back on it, the two both showed great discontent with Alistair continuing to call her in such a way. A gentle smile happened to roll over her distant gaze before she returned her lilac eyes to the male before her. Once the male began to explain, Heaven's jaw clenched a little, "I needed you..." She whispered, the pain back then was unreal, and for once the female was alone, sure she had her pack and her two pups but... Alistair was all she had left he was her deputy back then he was her right hand, and he was always there for her, as she was for him. They had a bond, a strong bond together back then. "I would have understood, Alistair..." She muttered before looking down at her pup. "Snow, calm down... he is one of the wolves that help form North Ridge pack alongside your father and I." She explained to her. "Without Alistair, I don't believe I would have ever taken that step to actually be an alpha." She told Snow, "He's done more for your mother then he takes credit for." She told her pup as a soft chuckle left her lips. For the moment, the fea had allowed the pain to leave her mind. "Now, Snow, I need you to stay here with Mary... It's not safe to be at home at the moment. Please, mind the alpha of the dog pack and help her with the pups." She said gently as she nuzzled her lovingly. "Alright?"
Hearing his mate repeat what he said caused the brute to smile, "Yes, our den... You don't expect us to sleep separately do you?" He asked her with a raised brow, teasing her a bit. Nodding his head as she finally got through her sudden realization of it all, Takoda chuckle " Alright, I'll race ya back but you should know I'll beat ya there." he said before he darted pasted her, an amused chuckle left the once irritated wolves maw.
Softly she chuckled, "Once this has all settled, lets make snow angels at home." She told him with a gentle smile. Nodding her head in response to Shiloh she nuzzled her head into his shoulder, "I hope so... The pack needs closure. " she told him gently as she walked alongside him. Her mind was once again being covered in the sorrows of the day. Shaking her head gently the female padded forward, slowly passing up Shiloh as they made their way back home. "We will have a long day ahead of us, huh?" She asked him as she looked up at the night sky.
Feeling an overwhelming amount of confusion take hold of her, the female looked from Eclipse and then back to the wolf named Shard, "Y-You know each other..." She muttered as she looked back at her new traveling companion. They were brothers from the sounds of it... and they didn't like each other either. Soon the angel looking male was demanding that they leave, well more so demanding his brother left the area. Feeling irritated from this pack wolves demands, Yuna's fur began to stand on end as a low growl began to roll from her chest. However, for the moment, the female kept her paws planted in the snow... She didn't like pack wolves, but she wasn't about to make the issue worse for Eclipse by stepping out towards Shard. As soon as Eclipse began to moved, granting his brothers wish, Yuna followed along behind him only to pause when Shard had mentioned a shaggy dog... there was a shaggy dog back at the dog pack. She had only caught a glimpse of him within the warehouse but surely this wolf had checked there. "Indeed..." She agreed with her demonic companion, "Dog's have no business in the forests run by wolves..." She told him as a low growl rolled from her maw. Small hot embers began to from the fea's red dusted pelt. If she wasn't careful she'd probably caught the forest on fire... but this male... he really brought out the anger in her for some reason.
Knowing her pups had rushed off to get her something to eat, the mother felt she needed fresh air. Slowly, the weak female stood up and began stumbling towards the exit of the warehouse. Following her nose and feeling the floor with her paws, the Akita made her way outside. Lifting her head up, the dog took in a deep breath, the city air wasn't very clean but, it was as fresh as she could get. Sitting down, the dog closed her eyes and listened to the world around her. Her hearing was normal now, nothing sounded muffled or faint, her sense of smell was as strong as ever... but her eyes, her eyes were slowly healing if at all.
Having Run off with his younger brother, Akin giggled excitedly, "Mama is feeling better! If she wasn't there's no way she would have stood up like that! She's getting stronger Kai! She'll be back to normal before we know it." He excitedly said to him as they rushed to the food pile.
