Fear: Philophobia
Philophobia: the fear of falling in or being in love. The origin of the word Philo is Latin (meaning having a strong affinity or love) and phobia is Greek (meaning fear).
Phobie (Phobia in German) is scared of falling in love. You see, when she was younger. She fell in love. (I'll call the boa... Dude) The boa she fell in love with did not share the same feelings. Phobie did anything for Dude, she ran errands, cleaned, and all sorts of things. Dude was not a nice boa. He and his friends told Phobie to go spend the night in the woods, knowing that something bad layed there. Phobie did just that. Meanwhile Dude was partying and doing nothing. Of course, she got hurt very badly due to an accident resulting in her falling apart, physically and mentally. After her initial recovery, Dude and his friends laughed at her, calling her names, and being downright horrible. She was devastated. Phobie developed a fear of falling in love after that, thinking that if she ever fell in love again, she'd be hurt even more. If she suspects that she's (even in the slightest) developing a crush, she'll distance herself for days.
(If I wasn't supposed to write why the Boa was scared, Sorry!)
