Amory wrapped her arms around him, holding h close as she fell asleep quickly. She woke up much, much later, the mid noon sun peeking in through the curtains.

Jax was still sleeping around noon. He let out a frustrated sigh in his sleep, and woke minutes later. "Wait, where-" He trailed off, remembering. "Oh." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes. He nearly jumped when he noticed Amory's arms wrapped around him and he blinked groggily, still trying to wake himself.

((I spent five minutes thinking my mind was playing tricks on me when the wolf in your sig blinked.))

Amory snuggled closer to him. She heard him speak, but ignored it, wanting to stay here with him for a while longer. She reached up and ran her fingers through his hair, smiling a bit.

Jax looked down at Amory. "Good morning." He murmured groggily as she ran her fingers through his hair. Jax smiled back. "Ugh, I haven't slept so well in, like… ever." He chuckled, raising his arms to stretch them without actually getting up.

Amory smiled. "Morning." She softly kissed his cheek. "Me neither," she murmured, holding him close.

Jax went red with embarrassment. "Mph." He mumbled in reply, his eyes open in surprise.

Amory smirked, resting her head on his chest happily. She closed her eyes, perfectly content to lie there with him forever.

Jax smiled and rested his hand on her back, closing his eyes. His cheeks were still red, but he was relaxing.

OOC: Maybe something happens, like the military busts in or a fire alarm goes off?

Amory smiled happily, relaxing against him. But she jolted upright as the fire alarm started blaring. She didn't know this was the military's method to get everyone out to see if they were the kids they were looking for.

Jax bolted up, jumping out of the bed and grabbing his backpack. "We have to get out. The military won't be here, I don't think, but we still can't be caught by the fire department. They might know about us. I doubt it- but we can't risk it." He said. Word of two missing military cadets might reach the nearby town, and the fire department could have found out. The hotel probably wouldn't have noticed, since it was a little ways away, but they couldn't risk being found. "Come on, let' get out of here." He opened the door and was greeted by a trail of smoke. He coughed. "We've got to get downstairs."
