Heyy! Dog agility peeps, my dog deacon has got the weaves down, But hes slow. Is there any way I could speed him up?

How long has he been doing weaves? I know my dog would sometimes take a new trick slow for a while and once she was more familiar, then she'd go faster.

For dog agility; I was thinking about doing that with Stella for fun to keep her playing. She loves to run around but she isn't the best listener. Would dog agility help with her attention and training in general? I think she could be really good at it if I kept it up. I set up a makeshift one for her before and she loved it.
