Sammy drew a scene from Lady and the Tramp using a blue colored pencil. He wrote a small message inside the card and signed his name. "We still need to plan your cake, your birthday's getting closer and closer. Do you want me or a bakery to make it?"

“It’s a place where they make all sorts of food, like bread, cakes, and cookies. There’s one in town I can show you today, if you’d like.” Said Sammy.

“Of course you can. We can also get Margaret something too and bring it to her. I can call them up and tell them you’d like a birthday cake, and then we can discuss flavors and such there.” He explained.

Sammy gave the bakery a call and explained what he wanted. They said they could come over to the shop and plan the cake out with her. He grabbed the card and began putting his shoes on. “Are you ready to go?” He asked.

Once they got to the bakery, just a ten minute drive away, Sammy explained what they wanted to the baker, a hyena around Sammy's age. The two talked for a little, and when it was time for Alessa to talk with her, she introduced herself as Marcie. The baker offered her a freshly baked vanilla cupcake, topped with green frosting that looked like grass and a small fondant bumblebee resting on a fondant flower.
"Your birthday's coming up, huh?" Marcie said in a sweet, gentle voice. It had a bit of a southern accent to it. "How old are you gonna be?"
