i like him as-is! although, in saying that, he also looks gorgeous with filigree (just to throw a spanner in the works)

:,00 that looks gorgeous, geez louise i'll have to see what i can get my hands on first. it wouldn't be too bad just keeping him plain and jazzing him up with apparel or a neat accent.
thanks for the feedback, now i won't be chugging along for the week trying to gather the gems to buy filigree :, ))))

I finished the XYY driftwood/chocolate girl I hatched during NotN yesterday and I'm just so pleased with her? I even managed to end up geneing her far more cheaply than my original plans [which were python/alloy/capsule WC, she clearly ended up a python/noxtide/ghost PC] and she turned into a BEAUTIFUL earthy undead fossil girl. She's the perfect foil to my Gen1 WC Epoch.
God her skin was expensive tho

Hey guys, I have a question and I'm not sure where I stand on this. Hoping I can get some advice.
Long story short, I purchased a dragon with a bunch of art in his bio. After messaging the original seller of the dragon so that I could try and find the artists who'd drawn each piece (as they had not been credited at all originally), I finally managed to find the artists myself. I paid 2kg for him and the art together, and after a day or so I took the art out of the dragon's bio to save for another (replacement) dragon. I then put the tundra back up on the AH without his art because I'd decided I had no intentions of keeping the dragon himself, only the art he came with. Nowhere in his bio did I say that he was being sold with any of it; none of it was linked to or displayed.
Yesterday I received a PM from the original owner, stating that they had purchased the dragon again "to refund me for him" and "restored his bio" with all the art that I had bought with him. However, I had purchased both the Tundra AND his art from them, and had not requested a refund or anything similar. I do not mind if they wish to keep the Tundra, as I HAD put him back up for sale. But I had ONLY put HIM up for sale, not the art. As such I do not believe that they have the ownership of that art anymore.
Am I wrong? I am just unsure of everything at the moment and would like some advice.

I would say since you bought the art with the dragon, whatever was in his bio is now yours.
You paid for it, so you get to keep it. Especially since dragons with art tend to sell for more to compensate the price of the art itself.
I would politely message the buyer and explain that since the art was removed from the bio it's no longer attached to the dragon, and it wasn't to be sold with the dragon. I'm assuming that you sold the dragon at a lower price?
If they argue, you could try and report them but I'm not sure how helpful the FR Mods will be.
I've bought dragons only to buy the art attached to them but never had a problem once the dragon was resold.

I put the dragon back up for the original price, thinking I wouldn't get a buyer and have to lower it once the first 7 days had passed. He was a bred double G1 with matching eyes, so I was hoping MAYBE someone would be tempted by that and pay 2kg for him anyway. Then I could fund the genes for my replacement dragon.
Like you said, I've never had a problem buying dragons with art and reselling the dragon without them before. No one's EVER complained to me about it, or bought the dragon back and slapped the art back in. I've had people buy my art dragons and exalt/sell them without the art too and I don't care; once it leaves my account it isn't mine anymore and theirs to do with as they wish. At least that was my understanding?
I have indeed messaged the original seller but they stated that I was "only buying him for his art" and that "since they paid me back by buying him again we're square" and that they still had the rights to the art. So they refuse to remove the art. Hopefully the FR mods are helpful? I've sent a help ticket just now explaining what's going on with relevant links.
