It was a pitiful sight, seeing the Prince so downcast. With all his heart he wanted to cast out immediately and find Mipha, monsters or no. But the pleading from the Princess was a stab to him. They were good friends and dignitaries — she asked little of serious measure from him.

The older Link even chimed in, or at least his fairy friend did, saying he must stay at the Domain or else be used by Ganon as a bargaining chip. Curses! He grimaced at the helpless nature of his situation.

”I cannot leave my sister to the mercies of Ganon. Not again. However... I cannot leave my people, either. Not without being sure I could return myself or Mipha.” He would gladly give himself in place of his sister, though she would likely not agree with such a thought. Regardless, the Domain couldn’t be without a ruler-to-be.

Kass gave a chirup of recognition as Nabooru explained who Dark Link was. Of course, now that she pointed it out he did look like Link.

”I can see the resemblance. But, if I may, where are you two venturing to?” He may very well go with them if it was to his favor. If not, he would spend some time gleaning tales and stories from them before being on his way. Either way, no harm.

Link pulled himself up off the ground, wincing at the pain. He couldn't stay in this place any longer, he had to get out and see what damage had been done by ganondorf and put an end to it as quickly as possible. But he'd need help.
With a quick assessment of his surroundings he spotted the two mosters guarding him asleep. It wouldn't be hard to steal one of their weapons and take them out, but then what? Now wasn't the time to do anthing without thinking. Luckily Link knew the castle and it's twisting passageways. It wouldn't be hard for him to find his way out, but how many monsters stood in tye way of him and freedom?
"Well... I'm not doing any good sat around in here... so I guess I'll find out on the way," he muttered to himself, eyeing up the bokoblin's sword.

Wolf Link

Pacing restlessly, Link stared at the castle. Link was in there, he could feel it. Part of him wanted to rush in there and save him, but all his instincs screamed not to, it was too dangerous. What use was he dead? Sighing, he settled down in a corner, hoping not tomattract any unwanted attention. He'd keep his eyes out, and at the first sign of Wild Link he'd be there to help.

An arrow buried into the neck of a Lizalfos before it could raise an alarm and Easifa scooped up the arrows it dropped into her depleted quiver without slowing as she ran past, already knocking another. She didn't have time to stop and think about what was happening, any hesitation meant either capture or that she'd be overrun. This fact was all that allowed her to fire on the patrolling Gerudo soldiers--had she still been in the shadows she would have found herself too sickened to go through with it. She was getting closer to the castle, breath catching in her throat as she stopped to examine the area. She spun on her heels to loose an arrow at the skittering steps of another Lizalfos before it could pounce. There wasn't much time and she could see no easy way--no, the only thing she could do was to make her way into the castle. She stopped, panting slightly as her eyes fell to a wolf. Something about it seemed... Familiar. "You got someone in there you're looking to save?" Her voice was soft, anxiety rising as she stood still and the enormity of the task ahead of her looked both figuratively and literally. "Because I do too, it'll probably be easier together." Could it understand her at all? She had no idea, but something in her mind seemed convinced even so. "You can follow me if you're interested, if not then you need to get out of here." She couldn't wait any longer so she glanced down to the wolf one last time before running off towards the castle, ducking immediately behind the gate.

It seemed Sidon didn't notice him clinging onto him, and he could sense that he was sad. Wanting to help, he decided to go find this "Mipha" for him, and poked him, before whispering in his ear, and asked if he could find this Zora for him. He gave him a small smile, and assured he'll be fine. Despite being a kid, he's still a Link at heart.

He grumbled and rolled around a bit, as he conversed with this mystical being in his mind. "If I can't see you, why are you here then." he said in his mind, yawning. "And what I am is none of your concern. Now let me sleep." he noticed how it startd to feel, and he shrugged. It was a natural feeling, when he was down in the water temple..... Hold up. He swiveled around, all alert this time. This was a familiar feeling.. The feeling of darkness. He chuckled. So.. This new entity seemed to be a Dark being themself as well. Well, lucky them, they chose the most perfect person. "That won't work on me, you know." he chuckled, settling back down.

Another dark form? Another being enslaved by the crushing subjugation, the hateful grasp of light!?

"Elaborate, child..."

The voice has a slight lilt at the end, unable to contain a split moment of excitement, of hope.

"I ask a g a i n,"

This voice continues.

"What a r e you?"

He groaned, knowing whoever this is, they would keep pestering. " I'm Link. Dark Link. " he muttered, flopping back down. "And I'm honored another dark being has decided to contact me but I serious want some sleep, so can you at least shut up? For like 10 min? I really doubt you'll leave." he growled, closing his eyes.

It was now or never. Link snuck over to the bars of the cell he was in. Moving as quietly as he could, he stuck his arm between two bars and grabbed the Knight's Broadsword by the sleeping bokoblin's side. Slowly, he lifted it up and brought it through the bars to his side. Now, to get out of here...
It was a long shot, but the bars and lock on the cell was old. If he coukd stick the sword between the door and the cell bars and lever it, it might open. Hiwever, it woukd be loud. He had one chance before the guards woke up.
Crack.
In one swift movement he thrust the sword in the gap and pushed the sword. Something snapped, he didn' have time to see what, and the dorr swung open. This obviously caught the attention of the two guards and the jumped to their feet. Link gave them no time to attack, swinging the sword relentlessly until they fell back, defeated. Not wanting to wait around for more guards to inspect the noise, he ran to the exit as fast as he could, entering the main castle.

Wolf Link pricked his ears at the sound of footsteps. A female, they looked to be Gerudo, appeared, scanning her surroundings. Link rose to his paws, hackles raised and teeth bared. The Gerudo spoke to him but he didn't drop his guard. She then ran off and Link thought quickly. He didn't know this person, but they seemed to be telling the truth. Saving Link was his priority right now, and while he wasn't one to trist easily, he decided it would be best to follow her.
Noding to himself, he sprang forward, bounding along beside the girl. I sure hope she has a plan...

It was something of a relief to hear the sound of approaching paws behind her before the wolf was at her side. She crouched in the shadows near the castle walls, signaling for the wolf to wait with her. "There is a way in through the mines around this wall." Old maps she'd seen and sold from nearby ruins before the reconstruction danced through her mind. "We can get in that way which should take us closest to the dungeon but we'll have to be fast. I hope you're ready." Speaking it aloud gave her some reassurance--she at least had a plan, finding it easier to connect things than usual. Perhaps the dragon's prayer had really done something, perhaps this was just the effect of adrenaline coursing in her veins. She took a single steadying breath and drew her bow before rounding the wall and running towards the mines. She knew the layout, she'd seen it and read about it in many forms from the scattered wreckage in Hyrule Field, now she just needed to follow it and find Link. Then this could be left to true heroes, not a treasure hunter only working on borrowed courage. A lucky break--no monsters around this way as she ran for the mouth of the cave, but she didn't expect that luck to hold for long.

”Hm?” He glanced over his shoulder but found that the youngest Link was clinging to him. He sighed, shaking his head and frowning. ”No, Young knight, you can’t. I would feel terrible if you were hurt on my errand.” He wouldn’t send anyone into the fray at Hyrule Castle, not unless it was himself.

”You have my gratitude for your courage, little one,” a melancholy look crossed his face. ”You are very much like the Link I am most familiar with. I suppose he’s in the castle as well.”

It was after taking out another bokoblin that Link remembered something. This was unlike the last time the castle had been infested. There weren't just monsters out to get him, he was pretty sure ganondorf had an army of people under him aswell. Even if it wasn't true, there was no harm in being prepared.
Checking the hall he was in was clear, Link tucked himself away in a corner and changed his clothes. His Champion's Tunic drew too much attention for his liking. He needed something that woukd disguise him... With a sigh, he put on the one outfit that could do the job. Hopefully anyone he ran into would be the type of person who 'wouldn't hit a girl', no matter how dumb that saying way.
Now dressed in his Gerudo outfit, Link continued down the halls, making his way to the mines he knew could lead him out. At least now if he was spotted he woukd only be seen as an intruder and not the escaped hero!

This girl's smart, Link thought to himself, impressed. He got up and follwed her, all his senses alert. He could here them. The breathing of a group of what he assumed were monsters. He looked to the Gerudo girl and let out a low bark before pointing ahead with his nose, hoping to get the message across. He was ready to charge in and fight but he wasn't sure about his new, temporary companion.
