Abby cringed away, her hands clasped tightly onto parts of Kendra's shirt, a small whimper escaping her. Her gray eyes were wide with fear and when she spoke it was more of a stammering squeak."A-ab-by..."she whispered then took a breath, realizing it was barely auditable."A-abby..."she managed a little better this time.

Seth started on his work again, eyes flickering as he moved in smooth quick ways.((i dunno, half wb))

The woman glared at the younger girl for a few seconds, contimplating what to do with her. "You go with her." She snarled, jerking her thumb at Kendra. "And you, start sweeping the house with her." With that, the woman turned, and stalked off.

Kendra took a deep breath, and took Abby's hand in hers. "Come on. Let's get to work." She whispered.

Abby looked up at her with wide eyes, beginning to fill with terrified tears. The pour girl was extremely fragile and sensitive."O-okay..."she whispered in reply.

Seth glanced up at the hot sun beating down on his back and shoulders, eyes narrowed. it was fall, but the days were only just starting to cool.
