Jyak has always been a fan of the Christmas season, but he never truly understood why he loved the holiday so much. Everything about the holiday just seemed normal to him. However, the secret of his enjoyment of the holiday came through a realization as he was out in the snow one night. He had always been told his breath smelled like mints, even if he had never tasted a mint once in his life. But...with one puff of his breath in the cold night, he watched it freeze a tree branch right in front of his eyes. The realization came so easily to him. He was one of the smallest out of his friends, just like Vixen was the smallest reindeer on Santa's sleigh, his collar had bells, just like the sleigh-bells that rung throughout the holiday season. He was a creature of the winter season, he was a part of Christmas. He knew that now, and finally understood why his mother called him Jyak. Just a small change, a small change to Jack Frost, who nipped at noses in the winter time. He was Jyak Frest, a Sneker Holiday child.
