Ocelotleap.. that was the young warrior's name. She shot her apprentice a thankful smile, her muscles relaxing a bit as they replied, both seeming quite excited to have her follow along. The dark tabby nodded toward the spotted warrior, chuckling slightly at his nervous response, though she understood why he would be, she hadn't grown up around him after all "I'm sure you'll do great Ocelotleap, you know much more than the two of us do, combined, about this beautiful place.." Wolftail looked up, her eyes scanning the large, tropical green trees around them, something she was completely new to, seeing as how she'd grown up in a more coniferous forest "Shall we get going then?" She looked back at the two cats, her head tilted slightly to the side, paws tingling with excitement

Nettlepaw’s tail twitched in excitment “Battle training? I would love that, yeah!” she chirped with bright eyes as she peered up at her mentor. She couldn’t wait to learn how to battle, it was one of the most important skills a warrior could possess. Being able to battle another cat threatening your clan could make or break you as a warrior, decide whether you live or die.

“Of course, Wolftail.”Ocelotleap nodded respectfully towards Wolftail and then began walking towards the camp entrance, his twitching excitedly. With a grin, he began the combination of climbs and jumps that led him down to the forest floor.

Foxtail sat beside her and took a bite of the monkey and chewed thoughtfully for a moment before responding. “Spy on them a bit first. I want to know their general numbers and skills. Based on that, we can concoct a more detailed attack plan.” She examines her claws thoughtfully. “When we do attack, let kits, elders,queens, and apprentices live, as well as any cat who chooses to ally with us. Leave no other survivors.” Her amber eyes narrowed with hate at the distant clan.

Nettlepaw purred with excitement. She was glad she got a mentor who was glad to teach her and was nice. Some apprentices aren’t as lucky, you never know what you’re going to end up with. She had almost begun to look up to Orchidpetal as family, she didn’t know if it was weird or not, but not having any known family herself or what her background was made it easy to latch onto the first cat to show her kindness and leadership.

Silentfoot looked over at Orchidpetal with a nod “Ready as ever,” he replied, getting to his feet and flicked his tail. Patrol was always something he looked forward to. She nodded eagerly at Wolftail and then threw a smile at Ocelotleap. This was going to be great! As the two warriors got themselves ready, Pigeonpaw took a quick moment to lap up some water from a cluster of nearby leaves. It was weird, not being able to drink water in the 'regular' way. It had taken her a few days to get used to it, and even now she still spilled most of the water that she tried to get down. Once she was finished, she watched Ocelotleap intently as he descended from the camp. Could she mimic those movements? She certainly hoped so.
She leapt down to the first lower branch, then the next, and then climbed down some. By the time she got to the place where Ocelotleap was waiting for her, she was panting from the effort. But she wasn't about to be discouraged.
"It must have been nice bein' able to learn this as a kit and an apprentice," she said sheepishly to Ocelotleap. "I'm still certain that I'll fall each time!" She turned to look up at Wolftail, who was taking up the rear of the group.
"You can do it!"

Otterstar nodded with a calm smile to Orchidpetal, giving her reassurance as to her how well she was handling her duties. Otterstar almost missed his deputy days, but he was content on leading now. Otterstar had almost second guessed himself, wondering if he was fit to lead, but once seeing the respect and trust from his clanmates the sudden burst of care and leadership that had been locked away now coursed through his veins.

Wolftail shot the younger tom a small smile, noticing the respectful dip of his skull he gave her as he descended down the tall trees. She watched through slightly widened eyes as her apprentice followed after him, her paws trembling at the thought of making the climb herself, something she wasn't very used to. She couldn't help but purr as the younger fae yelled up her encouraging words, making her own muscles slightly relax. With a deep breath she made her way after the two, her claws digging into the soft wood as she leapt from branch to branch, slightly embarrassed as her hind-leg slipped, causing her to stumble the rest of the way down. Wolftail looked up at the two with an awkward chuckle, her gaze shifting up toward the branches she had just fallen from "I'll definitely have to get used to that.."

She watched Wolftail descend the trees closely, gasping as the older warrior stumbled. But Wolftail was able to catch herself, and Pigeonpaw visibly relaxed. It seemed as though they both needed some practice, but Pigeonpaw was sure that she could learn a lot from her mentor. After all, Wolftail had corrected her stumble quickly enough to not fall.
As Wolftail joined the group, Pigeonpaw turned back to Ocelotleap, her excitement returning.
"Where to now?" she asked, glancing around the jungle. This place was huge, and it was amazing that Ocelotleap knew where to go. At least with IslandClan, they had the well defined borders that were the shores of the island. Here, everything was a chaotic mass of trees and other flora. Pigeonpaw was sure that if she ventured out without an escort she'd definitely get lost.
