Warrior Cat Challenge

A plain in the boiling south, prickled with bristling thorns and dry grass. There is little refuge from the sun and the cats do not dare try and walk the earth while the sun blazes through the sky - They prefer to take up refuge in the ruins that lay smattered across the plains - Like stones cast by a god. They travel from ruin to ruin, never settling in one place for too long. It is said they fear the sun and follow the moon, as it waxed and wanes in a circle through the open sky. Five cats, survivors of a plague that tore through their clowder, set out to fInd the secrets that the ruins have kept from them for so long, while also trying to find the next scrap of food and drop of water to keep them alive. Will they last? Or will they be dead before the next sunrise?

The spirits of the south see their strife, and they bless them.

May the sun shine in their favour.

Calming in every sense of the word, Nasim is the undisputed mediator of the group. By no means a fierce warrior, Nasim takes every measure that she can get to keep the peace and conflicts are often a source of much pain for the little molly. She knows the pain that war brings and resents the bloodspillers for the clowder's end, often shooting a mean-glare or two in Peyton's direction. For all her serenity, Nasim has a mean-streak and can be incredibly petty. She expects everyone to pull their weight, regardless of their ability and can often be a rude awakening for any night-owls.

As a young kit, Belial was a passionate and confident little explorer. Nowadays, Belial is apathetic and has little to say to his comrades - His parent's betrayal shook the tom to his core and he fears that sooner or later, he'll end up like them. Belial is a hard-worker and often goes hunting by his lonesome, preferring silence to Malak's constant chatter. Deep down, Belial misses being able to hang out with the others and knows that ultimately he cares for them. Even deeper down, Belial knows better.

A bundle of tireless energy, Malak knows no bounds to their agility. They are energetic and talkative, a vibrant personality. In comparison with the apathetic Belial, Malak is very empathetic and sweet - They live up to their name! Malak is a sweetheart and would never turn anyone down, no matter how severe their need. However, Malak can be very hasty and impulsive - They follow their heart, and cast logic to one side all too frequently. This little troublemaker often finds themselves in difficult situations, and yet somehow, they find their way back just fine.

Level-headed and reasonable, Reyes is the 1st to take control of a situation. Nasim may be the leader, but Reyes is the one who makes the plans and plots their strategies. He was the 1st to enter the ruins and since then has been captivated by their mystery - Curious and adventurous, Reyes often tags along with Malak and is thought to be the most intelligent of the bunch. However, he falls in love quickly and is just as easily captivated by a beautiful cat as he is with a mystery. Reyes is a sentimental chap and can have some particularly outrageous dreams. It takes a lot to keep him anchored to the living world.

Eclectic and wild, Xenia is the experimenter of the party! She knows there's no use playing in the box and she is careful to explore every option there is. If the Scrublanders ever became a clan, Xenia would be the healer, for she has an acute fascination with plants and tries her best to learn about them whenever she can. Xenia is a quizzical and free-spirited molly, although she's not without her follies. Xenia can be very hostile and aggressive, quick to assume the worst of anyone - She's a fighter, as much as she is a healer.
