Bringing them closer together.
Without a fear.

True loves song is how we meet.

You can wish upon a star but what will that do?
The goddess of music is here for you
Playing her song for all to hear
Granting love into the hearts of all who's near.

but with love comes hate
one cannot exist without the other
with a worry and a frown
The goddess of music placed her instruments down
A world with love and hate just wouldn't do.

So she set out on a quest to find the one
Who drummed hate into the hearts where she put love.
To put a stop to the negative, and the sadness in men

Hate

The god of hate with drums so loud
banging those feelings into all those around.
He keeps the balance and dare not stop
for not even the goddess of love can get him to drop.

One must understand that with love must come hate
the balance of everything lies in this fate.
You cannot have the sky and not have the sea.
The stars, the clouds, and the trees.
Everything has a balance, a counterpart if you will.
The goddess of love must understand,
or she will cause doom and ill.

The goddess of love
with Determination and will
Stormed the throne room of the god of hate.
She demanded he changed, and stopped his work
Ending the bad feelings, and wrongdoings and hurt.

The god of hate stood mighty and tall,
He cast a spell towards the goddess
she retaliated, for love was stronger than hate.
she won the battle, but at what cost
the god of hate was now, he was lost.


The goddess of love, having done what she set out to do
went back to her kingdom on the clouds.
She sat and looked down on the people below
all the humans were happy and cheerful and full of a glow.
No longer were they hateful, or sad.
Instead the feeling lingered within her.
a feeling of dread

Love and Hate.
Together forever.

She may have won the battle
and banished the god of hate
but hate still lingers
it can never disappear
The goddess picked up her harp
and began to play a tune

No longer was it the beautiful melody
she had once come to love
for a sadness lingered within every note she strummed.
She sent her feelings down to the humans below
Watching as their love and kindness turned to melancholy
and then to sadness, and hate.

What she once wished she had
She no longer wanted
For in that moment she realized
That without one
the other would not exist.
Regret was plain on her face,
as she looked up to the sky.
From now on she was not only the Goddess of love.
But the Goddess of all the feelings that appeared in men.

Chryses closed a book, looking down to the children all gathered around at her feet.
They all looked at her with eyes wide and grins on their faces.
"I love that story ! tell another one!"
One piped up, the others following behind with demands of their own.
Chryses chuckled, setting her book aside.
"Alright, Alright, one more. But then I really must go"
She thought for a moment, before beginning.

"This is a story about a goddess, one who traded her title and job for a life of Mortality...."

And with that she trailed off, telling the story of her own life.
How seeing as she was the cause of so much sadness and hate.
She gave up what she did in order to become more at peace with herself.
Becoming more human. Becoming a Mortal.

I had so much fun staying up late trying to come up with a way to portray the story I had wanted for this gal.
Iv'e never tried writing in this way so it was a real challenge trying to rhyme as much as i could, and find the right words for it to flow properly.
No matter who this kid goes to It brought me out of my writing shell and helped me explore new ways to write a story so for that I'm thankful ♥
