Canopyclan is a tribe of various cats living on the border of a rainforest. Due to to their odd location, they have a different culture than other clans, although they do share the same religion.Cats of Canopyclan are excellent climbers and swimmers.. Cats with poor swimming skills may survive, but cats with poor climbing skills are likely to perish. Cats are also generally quite water-tolerant, used to the heavy rains of the jungle.
The Camp
Canopyclan warriors live in the tall trees of the rainforest. They make their dens by a combination of hollowing portions of trees and using leaves to build nests. These hollow portions are like dents into the tree, made at the base of where a tree branches. The dent is made to secure the leaves which build the nests. Fresh water is never a problem, but surface water can easily get murky or poisoned by plants. Because of this, cats mostly drink dew collected on leaves. There is a large waterfall flowing into a lake by their camp, but they mostly use it for fishing. The debns of camp scatter the base of the rainforest canopy and the top of the understory. They don’t go much higher than that.
Food
Canopyclan cats both fish and hunt for food. Birds are rarely found in the forest floor and understory layers where they often hunt, but there are a plethora of various lizards and insects. A large hunting party can even work together to catch young okapi and tapirs. In the canopy area where they live, monkeys are a common catch.Sloths are sometimes seen, but rarely eaten, as it is thought that you’ll catch the slowness of a sloth from eating the tough meat.
Dangers
Larger cats like ocelots and camouflaged snakes like the emerald tree boa are common causes of cat death. As both snakes with deadly venom as well as constrictor snakes litter both the trees and the forest floor, cats are taught from an early age to immediately flee. Apprentices are taught the basics about common poisonous plants and animals, such as poison dart frogs, and how to avoid them from an early age. Medicine cats learn much more on which plants are deadly and which are helpful, allowing them to safely search the forest for herbs.

Rogues spotted by the west edge of the territory
Twoleg tree choppers spotted a small while from the south border
The Mooncave
To visit the ancestors of the clan, the leaders and medicine cats visit the Mooncave, a small cave beneath the waterfall where moonlight trickles in once every half moon.
